I chose this place during my hike to Ise. The transportation is a bit inconvenient. You have to take a taxi when you get to the rest stop from the Xiaoyun-dake fork, or make an appointment with the hotel in advance. There is a shuttle service to Shingu. The room is nice, and it has its own restaurant. You can eat delicious food without ordering. The local chicken is great, the service is very attentive and serious, and the big bathroom overlooking the canyon is also very comfortable, clean and tidy. It is also convenient to go to Fuuntoge the next day. It is a very cost-effective hotel. If you have the opportunity to come here to play, it is worth choosing.

I stayed there after work. About 30 minutes by car from Kumano city. I was on the way admiring the autumn leaves🍁. I was satisfied with the food, which was delicious and had a reasonable amount. I was able to take a relaxing bath in the hot spring ♨️.
It was a collaboration between 🍁 and cherry blossoms 🌸 at the entrance of the inn.

Comfortable, with nice outdoor onsen
A quiet hotel with a nice onsen on the balcony overlooking the river. Simple alkaline waters, not too hot, elaborate dinners and breakfast with nice sea and river fish dishes, good wifi. Comfortable rooms in a modern building.

We thought the staff were so accommodating. Nothing was a problem. We asked to cancel our Japanese breakfast and they applied the cost as a credit toward our dinner meal, which was excellent. Provided an extra pillow and always had fresh towels for the onsen. They also helped with directions to various places we visited. Beautiful view of the river from where you sit in the onsen. Arigatogozaimasu!

Happy to stay here
Great onsen hotel in a peaceful location. Restaurant was nice. The front desk clerk, Imai, was very helpful in helping me in reserving a ferry for later in my trip as my Nihongo was limited.
