We recently stayed at Gezellig Inn - Kanyal Villas and were left feeling disappointed on two fronts. While the room itself was decent and spacious but we were surprised to be charged extra for a balcony, this felt unnecessary, especially since the base price of the room seemed high already. It felt misleading and not worth the additional cost. However, the bigger issue was the complete lack of facilities for drivers. Many tourists travel with a driver, and with temperatures dipping below zero at night, it was completely unacceptable that the hotel offered no designated rest area or even a paid driver's room. All drivers were forced to sleep in his car in the freezing cold, which is simply inhumane. This lack of consideration for such an essential part of our travel experience really put a damper on our stay. For a hotel charging a premium, basic amenities for drivers should be a given. Our stay was unfortunately marred by the extra charges for the balcony, the lack of driver accommodations, and the expensive food. While the room itself was nice, these issues left us feeling like we didn't get good value for our money. We would strongly recommend the hotel reconsider its policy on balcony surcharges, find a solution for driver rest areas and clearly communicate driver accommodation policies on booking platforms also, and work on offering more affordable dining options. This hotel could be a great choice for travellers with a car, but only if they address the concerns mentioned above. If you're on a tight budget or have a driver with you, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This choice of this hotel will be the worst choice one can make as it not better than any oyo in any sense, staff have no sensible knowledge of guest service. I dont know how goibino and other websites gave good ratings to this may be due tonpaid reviews. Don’t fall for positive reviews may be these are paid or given bu management itself. The reasons i will say you no for this hotel is as below 1. Wont be given basic toiletries unless asked for. 2. You will be sent to room while the room is being done up 3. No power back up and upon complaint there manager Mr Sunny will argue about no fault of his in short he or the management is doing a favour by letting you stay. 4. Hotel staff will turn up at odd hours for signing petty papers like heater charges or food bill or whatever they want to. 5. Call you at 10:00 pm or post for clearing room charges and other bills. 6. You room service food will be delivered in instalments and not at once 7. The heater is of no use as it wont heat up the room but just a place or just say half of the bed, in a place like manali where nights are sub zero to zero (visited in 24/12/23 to 26/12/23) the heater will just heat up 25% of the bed part when kept in close proximity to bed 8. Will be attaching images of poor ploght of rooms. Paint peeling off, damped walls no upkeep is there. 9. The only good point is view from valley view room but that can be a part of many hotels not the cost of the experience. 10. The woods leak a rubbery substance when exposed to sunlight.. The hotel is a nightmare and the staff are all from mars who do the know basic etiquette

It was a pleasure staying at this Brand new property to us, which is 15 minute drive from the Mall road is a nice hotel with excellent food and service. We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights and the hospitality at its top notch. Breakfast is good and you can choose: Indian, continental, etc. Also the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Overall the experience was brilliant and enjoyed or weekend getaway a lot. We will definitely stay there again. And Thanks front office team for calling us and make us know about the places, weather, direction us by calling and message. We are so pleased by your staffs, politeness and smile nature for ensuring us our requirements.

They are not providing any facility to drivers of guest. Rooms facility are on average situation not good. Bed sheets and other things not changed in n ex day. Room cleaning service is not good. Parking facility not available. And many other things which are not suitable for us

I consider myself super lucky to book this resort on mmt. This resort is located in super amazing view area, which is not very far from city point as well. The moment you enter in this resort, you are just amazed, its so beautifully and very aesthetically done. You smell the freshness in air as you take a stroll in garden. Those high mountains covered with snow is a treat to eyes. Its not that i am exaggerating the beauty, but it’s a reality, you feel like in heaven. Perfect hospitality from phadi accent people, smile and the innocence on their faces win ones heart. Buffet was very delicious, though not very spread out, but it was fresh and warm and tasty too. Their tandoori items are out of the world, must try it out. Good clean and well kept rooms with the fantastic view from the bed. As i was a solo traveller, the staff was very helpful in arranging my sightseeing. For me it was a perfect holiday. I recommend this property to all those travellers who love nature and want to enjoy the beauty of hills.
