Royal Tulip Luxury Hotel, Kufri, Shimla

The overall experience was great ,food was amazing just the gym needs to be upgraded a bit adding more weights and equipments and the pool area needs some ventilation rest the overall stay was very nice. Would consider visiting again soon!!

Rooms are spacious & well maintained and clean. Reception staff was very cooperative room service staff and housekeeping was humble and polite at the time of service.Ambiance of hotel is very good ,main usb is terrace where we can see himalyas. We enjoyed alot

It was our family trip for two nights we enjoyed alot in Ananda kufri luxury hotel with all modern facilities hotel staff was amazing food was super Delicious as we have tried authentic himachali, room was amazing. Best hotel in Kufri…..Great Hospitality and staff behaviour is very good. Food quality is excellent. Lot of activites in hotel present Swimming pool is also great. Must visit place. In winter they also assure to provide more activities. I would love to visit again. Thanks Ananda kufri for this awesome hospitality overall

Our experience here was fabulous. One of the best hotels one can ever stay in. The staff here is so polite and always available at their customer's service. Thanks to Ms. Surekha and the entire team for serving us the best food. Everything including the view from rooms, the interior of the hotel, the food and the staff is on point.

We stayed at the Royal Tulip Hotel Kufri (the same as the Ananda!) for two nights. It was the worst hotel we encountered on our month-long trip. At check-in we were told that our room had been upgraded but it was hard to see how it was better. We suspected that it was just a ruse to give us a room further from the noisy booking in the Grand Ballroom. When we found the air conditioning was not working in our room we complained to reception, only to be told there was no a/c in the entire hotel. This was something they could have told us when we checked in, but they chose not to. We asked for and were given a portable heater. Having pre-booked dinner (a big mistake) we were left to explore the Table ‘o’ Hotel menu . The limited choices were unappetizing, and the fish in oyster sauce was close to inedible. The restaurant windows looked out onto a steep hillside that was strewn with rubbish. The food was so bad we ordered a la carte the second evening to get a better choice. The restaurant staff were however helpful and pleasant. We were irritated by muzak playing outside our door in the corridor. The next morning the breakfast buffet was stale, presumably offering left-overs from the Grand Ballroom banquet night before. We selected this hotel on price and with hindsight we should probably have spent a bit more and stayed somewhere that maintained reasonable quality standards.
