Great Location, But Disappointing Stay I stayed at Hotel Stripes for 11 nights, and while the location was excellent—close to a train-monorail station, main attractions, and plenty of restaurants in a quiet area—the overall experience was disappointing and not what I expected from a 5-star hotel. The staff were polite and helpful, but they were not always available around the pool area and during breakfast service. The room was a major letdown. With no windows or balcony, limited natural light, and insufficient indoor lighting, it felt dark and claustrophobic. Additionally, the bedding, especially the pillows, didn’t feel clean and should be thoroughly washed or replaced. The WiFi connection was extremely poor throughout my stay, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The swimming pool area was unsafe and poorly managed. I witnessed a guest slip on wet stairs, dislocating his shoulder and requiring an ambulance. No staff were present during the incident, and the wet stairs made the area hazardous. The poolside bar was left unmanaged during day hours, and while there was a water dispenser, water glasses were often unavailable. Breakfast was another disappointment. The food options were very limited, and the quality was poor—not what you’d expect from a hotel with a 5-star rating. While the location and polite staff were positives, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. After 11 nights here, I can confidently say I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay here again.

Return customer! Loved this hotel so much the first time I came, had to introduce it to friends! Room is super clean and room service is so often. Mini bar in room is free, bathtub is big, room is very spacious. Easy walk in connection link bridge to Pavilion. We all enjoyed our stay!

I only had time to write this review right now. After 3 months of reminding myself. This is how grateful I am to be accommodated by Grand Hyatt. Nothing more to mention about the great view and favourite breakfast venue by my significant other. Celebrated anniversary at Grand Hyatt and welcomed with a complimentary room upgrade to our surprise! In which we soaked in the biggest bathtub I’ve ever been in. I will certainly return and looking forward to pick Grand Hyatt for my future stays in Kuala Lumpur , living to its great location, hospitality and standard. Regards.

We had an enjoyable two days in KL staying at EQ. The staff (from the reception to the security staff) are friendly and helpful which made the stay as stress free as possible. Breakfast at Nipah was excellent with a good selection of International cuisines. We were able to get tables quickly and the service staff were also on hand to clear away used plates and cutlery quickly. I liked the bookshop opposite for its eclectic selection of books as well. I appreciated the complimentary minibar which was topped up daily. Carpark was safe with security staff present at each level and it was relatively easy to get my EV charged during my stay. The room was really clean and well-maintained and other than the malfunctioning coffee maker that was replaced, I thought it was comfortable for a party of 4 (3 adults and 1 child.). As the hotel is located in the heart of town, expect the roads to be congested during peak hours which will make travel by car more inconvenient than normal. Thanks to the entire staff of EQ for a wonderful experience! Keep up the good work!

Never stayed with Banyan tree before, according to TRIP.com’s K.L. Top 6 luxury hotel list, I’ve choose this brand for my first ever time and it turns out it’s a bit disappointed. Services was definitely great, everyone were so friendly and helpful. The location was cool, hotel lobby had a lift and a bridge that linked to pavilion shopping mall. Con: safety awareness needs to be improved： On the 56/F, -There’s some broken conquers on the floor right at the edge of a table, where people very often stood there to take photos. -The stairs that walks to the outdoor dinning area are quite narrow, and there’s no lights or warning signs around it, it’s very dangerous to walk at the dark. Hotel itself looks quite new and clean but somehow A number of hardwares are not working properly in the room.

It has a wonderful location where nearby KLCC, with a good view of KL tower & Twin Towers (roof swimming pool). The housekeeping is outstanding, but the room design is weird, such as the socket is located at the end of bed - that when you charge your phone, you need to go to the end of your bed to do it (it has totally no socket at the bed side table area for guest to use.) Second is, the hot water issue, we have asked the Front Desk agent twice to fix the hot water (no hot water supply) at the master bed room, which still no hot water after it. Shared the no hot water issue with the Concierge, their engineering fixed on that day, but the hot water supply become very weak on day after… During the stay, they have a power outage as well; the lobby was full of guests (which they are not able to go up by elevator as power was out). Their Front Desk staff just standing there at the lobby without any proactive explanation, no signage or any notice to the guests that elevator is out of service/ the building is power outage. When questioned the black suits, the male black suits responded that no power now and no idea when will they able to fix the situation. After around 40mins, the fire department came and rescue the people trapped in the lift and power resume around an hour later. Btw, the bar - deep blue in its sister hotel next door is extremely good; their waiters have amazing service skill and proactively helping the guests to take photo and introduce the view of their bar. When the waiter in deep blue knows that I was not able to go back to the guest room during the next building power outage, he arranged me a KL Tower view seat and offered assistance that if I have any trouble, he could assist me to room move to the Face Hotel (the hotel where Deep Blue located) which is the best hospitality I received in this trip.

I am so happy sharing my experience booking a hotel here in trip.com in my last quick trip to Kuala Lumpur with my good friend. We book SCARLETZ SUITS at Jalan Kwan Seng KL, the hotel is so nice and clean and we got the city view from 23rd floor. We just book for 1 day but it’s like we Dont want to check out anymore. You feel like home, coz the things you need to stay is already there. They have kitchenette..the toilet is amazingly clean and smell good!💕we love the view, the bed and everything! Surely we will book again longer for the next time!thank you trip.com for good deal you provide for your higher tier customers, it’s serves as an appreciation for patronising your service!❤️❤️❤️

Room with High floor nice view. Washing machine,Water dispenser, fridge are provided. Like my shower time, good water pressure. No toothbrush, toothpaste, provided. Room with blind curtain, so bright in the morning can't sleep well. No place to hang ur changing clothes or towels in bathroom. Most terrible experience is the lift. 4 serving lift but seem like only 1 or 2 is moving. waiting time is too long. Pls check out early to avoid the crowd. Lift fully loaded but almost open floor by floor delayed the checked out.

No small towels only provides the big bath towels. Shower head is leaking, bathtub water is running too slow. Front desk service counter is not friendly. Said the room is non-smoking, but I can smell smoke when entering the room. It seems to be a share hotel, there's some check in counters at the lobby.

The room is really as well-equipped as an apartment. It has a lot of space and is very comfortable to live in. The gym and infinity swimming pool can be said to be perfect. It is a must-go place for check-in. At the same time, it is much cheaper than those hotels near the Petronas Towers, and the price-performance ratio is very high.
