Hotels in KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur

I recently booked a hotel for a minor oral surgery scheduled for the next day. Conveniently, the clinic is located just to the left of the hotel, and there's a mamak restaurant on the right side. Despite the briyani being slightly salty, I must commend the incredibly affordable prices—briyani for only RM12 and cendol for RM2. Such prices are truly rare in Kuala Lumpur! Feeling hungry at 1 AM, we headed down to the mamak. The mee goreng and maggi goreng were average, but the breakfast was a delight. The roti canai was so good that I couldn't resist buying two. I'll definitely be back for more! The hotel room was impressively spacious, and I plan to stay here again for future dental visits. Please note that there are three different branches located near each other, and my stay was at the hotel @ Sentral.

It's allocated by trip.com when original booking was cancelled by trip.com. Nonetheless it's a great location just that you may need to specify and request for a room with window view as most rooms are without.

This is the first time I rated high on a hotel. Well, this hotel even though its a 2-star hotel, they offer best services. I mean the staff where really doing their job splendidly. I can commend the reception a well job as well, as we booked our reservation online, it was totally hassle-free. After I showed my confirmation, he just politely asked for my passport and 50rm deposit. Afterwards, he just gave us our room key. Our stay at the hotel was really pleasant. Our hotel room has the basic hotel amenities such aa toiletries, towel, a kettle, free water bottle, free wifi, tv, clothes hanger, hairdryer and a mini desk. Even though we did not ask to clean our room, they still manage to give us clean towels and throw our trash in our 3-day stay which is a bit overwhelming for a 2-star hotel. The hotel is really just a walk away from NU sentral mall, KL sentral station and restaurants are accessible which is nearby and staying here is really a good point for a first time experience in KL.

The location is fantastic, right outside the subway station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. It's also a short walk to Petaling Street. You get a quiet atmosphere while still being in the heart of the action, and you can even see Asia's second tallest building from the window. Although the room was a bit dated, it was very clean. The staff were excellent too, helping me make a local call. Highly recommend, you can definitely stay here with peace of mind.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The room views were amazing, and the rooftop infinity pool offered breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views. The LRT station is right downstairs, and it's also very close to the Central Station MRT. We booked two double rooms, and they were particularly minimalist and very comfortable. The toilet and shower were separate, which was clean and odor-free. The rooms also came equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, clothes hangers, storage cabinets for luggage, and a long table. There are plenty of facilities here, including meeting rooms, offices, a gym, a yoga room, and a sauna. The Malaysian staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful during check-in. However, the lack of luggage storage before check-in or after check-out is quite inconvenient. IWe still can't check in when it's check-in time. We wait about 15 minutes before queueing up to check in. The girl at the counter treated the boy in front of me very well, and then skipped me and said to the crowd queueing behind me that the Family Room was not ready, but said nothing to me. When it was my turn, she gave me an Executive Room (Queen bed+extra bed), and we booked Family Room (1 Queen+1 single bed). After entering the room, the extra bed was delayed. I had no choice but to go to the counter againI to ask for the Family Room I had booked before😓 The breakfast time is from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. When we arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 🍴, we found that a lot of food was finished, and even saw other guests complaining about what to eat? A lot of food is no longer available.

I came across this hotel through many influencers and bloggers who highly recommended it, so my expectations were quite high. I arrived in Kuala Lumpur very early at around 5 a.m. and simply hoped to store my luggage while I went out for breakfast or explored the city. Unfortunately, my first interaction with the front desk staff was disappointing. The staff member assisting me was constantly playing a game on his phone, showed no eye contact, and came across as unfriendly. When I politely asked if there was any possibility of an earlier check-in at 2 p.m. instead of 3 p.m., he responded without looking up and informed me that early check-in would cost RM80. The way he spoke made me feel uncomfortable. I then asked if I could store my luggage instead.Again, he kept his eyes on his phone and casually said I could “put it outside,” without bothering to stand up or point out the luggage storage area. Feeling unwelcome, I ended up finding it myself. When I returned around 4 p.m. to check in, I was assisted by a different staff member who was much more professional and pleasant, which made the experience better. I was really looking forward to using the outdoor swimming pool, but unfortunately, it was temporarily closed, which was quite disappointing. However, I do appreciate that the lady staff managed to arrange a room for us on a high floor — we stayed on the 51st floor. For reference, the hotel has 53 floors, with levels 52 and 53 dedicated to facilities such as the pool, jacuzzi, gym, and sauna. As for the room itself, it was spacious, but not soundproof. You can clearly hear footsteps and conversations from outside the room, which may be uncomfortable for light sleepers. The TV and Wi-Fi were also very slow and laggy, with the Wi-Fi signal being quite weak. Overall, despite the shortcomings with staff attitude, noise, and facilities, the stay was still an experience. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute drive from KL Sentral, which is a plus.

I had made a booking just only 1 night before I stayed. So, I didn't mind the facility that much because I had an early flight to catch. Then, it turned out to be beyond my expectation, especially, the friendly service from the staff, both a doorman and a receptionist. They are so nice to every guest. One particular person was the doorman on the day I checked out. He was so generous to direct us to the KLIA station since all main entrance connecting to the station building were closed early morning. Yet, he never hesitated to show us to the right destination. The distance is about 10 mins walk, it was far for us with a couple of luggage to carry. He was so generous, so we tipped him in return. The room price is also super cheap considering the location. This hotel is really good for those who take KL sentral as a hub transportation to connect the mcity. I would surely come back again.

This was a budget hotel we stayed at for 3 nights. At the time we thought it best to be as near to the city transit hubs as possible; to extend our sightseeing to attractions outside the downtown core of Kuala Lumpur. But we ended up staying within the downtown core of KL the whole time after being captivated by the incredible beauty of the nearby city park. It's this very big city park that truly showcases Kula Lumpur, in my opinion. We even discovered a great shortcut to Perdana Park from this hotel but it requires going through the KL Sentral mall and train station and then to the park's underpass. This shortcut will not show-up on Google Maps either, which really isn't all that surprising. Our room was clean and the bed cozy, as well as good AC. But there's only one elevator and the room has no fridge. This is very much a no-frills hotel. And sometimes the street below our window could be quite noisy. But you have to realize that this is right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. It gets very busy in this particular area. Lots of hustle and bustle. Nonetheless, the location is excellent and there's plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. And the city park, being the Perdana Botanical Gardens, was well worth our stay.

Here will be a bit of story . I have booked here 2 times . First time I was so happy with the staff and how they are friendly and He is so helpful with my medication needing to put in fridge ( 💕their room do not come with the fridge in the room so they moved the fridge to my room since I needed for my medication) And then I booked second time since I was happy with last time ( even though the bed sheets and pillow sheets are noticeably old, The nice service from staff members put up for it ) . And then I have booked second time since I was happy , and then this time the lady was in the service . Even though she is not saying any rude word, I can feel her not being patient and keep saying about money 🥸.. ( I am young traveller so I understand having to ask money ahead but the way she was saying is like she doesn’t trust 🥸, I felt offended ) Btw, The hotel cut of electricity if you passed their check in time and also ask deposit of 50 RG ahead as well so please be mindful to tell and pay their late check out fees ahead if you have to check out after 12 .
