Kuala Lumpur Kampung Baru Hotels

This hotel was voted as a top family hotel, but honestly, my experience was far from it. We booked during the school holidays and had to wait in a long queue just to check in. The room we originally booked wasn’t available, but we accepted a different one, and they only offered a drink as compensation. The swimming pool is shared with the Renaissance Hotel, and it was super crowded — felt more like a “pasar malam” than a relaxing pool. The pool area is used at your own risk, and I really wonder why, with two hotels sharing the same pool, it’s so hard to place at least one staff member there to monitor safety. I actually fell in the park area, and it was a horrible experience. Some people nearby tried to call for help, but it took so long for hotel staff to arrive. When they finally did, they didn’t even bring a first aid kit. I had to request ice myself. Thankfully, the staff who stayed with me did their best and even considered calling an ambulance — I truly appreciate their effort. It took me a month to write this because my hand was fractured from the fall, and honestly, I still have a bit of phobia from that day. The breakfast situation wasn’t great either. You have to queue again, and it seems like they’re not prepared to handle large groups, especially during peak or school holiday seasons. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. I won’t be coming back again.

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. Although I couldn’t fully enjoy the pool due to two days of bad weather during my 3-night stay, the excellent facilities and clean rooms made up for it. The location is convenient, with nearby attractions and great transport access, making it easy to get around. Most importantly, the staff — especially Siam, Ramis, and Halima — were extremely friendly and made me feel genuinely welcomed. P.S. The terrace view was absolutely beautiful!

The hotel was great! Rooms were spacious, and facilities were comprehensive. The absolute highlight was the view of the Twin Towers from the pool. Plus, it's conveniently located right next to an LRT station, making transportation a breeze. As for Trip.com, they were really responsible. I thought my hotel deposit hadn't been refunded, but it turned out to be a misunderstanding on my end. Nevertheless, their staff still spent a good amount of time helping me coordinate and clarify things.

Charming Parisian Hotel with Outstanding Service – A Wonderful Stay! I recently stayed at Hotel Elysees Opera, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel is charming, clean, and perfectly located for exploring Paris. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out – especially from Francesca at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Thank you, Francesca, for your outstanding service! The room was cozy, well-maintained, and quiet, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I slept well every night and really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless with a great shower. Location-wise, the hotel is ideal – close to metro stations, within walking distance of Montmartre and the Opera district, and surrounded by lovely cafes and shops. It’s easy to feel like a local in this neighborhood. Overall, Hotel Elysees Opera is a hidden gem in Paris. Great value, wonderful staff, and a lovely Parisian feel. I would definitely return and highly recommend it – especially if you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Francesca at check-in!

Very spacious and clean rooms with kitchen and living room. The amenities are a bit basic for this level and the service is extremely slow. Be prepared to wait 15-20min for the return of your cash deposit (they warn you before so you can check out early enough if you are in a rush). The pool is amazing and has fantastic views but it had a strange chemical compound in it that unlike normal chlorine made it very acidic and almost impossible to swim in it, regular pH check would be advised.

The best hotel to stay in kl with klcc view. Staff super helpfull, will reply u anytime of the day without hesitation & will came to ur room if anything needed cant be solve immediately!. Room was clean no need to bring along your toiletries they have body & hair shampoo also hair conditioner that smell good also. Parking is provided. U may check in at another level after they conforming at the lobby but the process check in was smooth.

Loved the 1-Bedroom! It was clean and well-kept. Receptionists were approachable, and housekeepers were polite. We walked easily to KLCC within 10 minutes. The non-smoking policy kept the unit smelling fresh. This was our first trip to Kuala Lumpur and we couldn’t have chosen better. The apartment was spotless, the view of KL Tower from the pool was unforgettable, and KLCC was just a short 10-minute walk. Reception was warm and welcoming, and it was so convenient that we could send them WhatsApp messages for small requests. Truly enjoyed our stay.

If you want to stay here for a short time, then this apartment is for you. But unfortunately it is a bad house, the elevators are overcrowded and the waiting time is very long. There is no washing machine in the apartment and the sink was broken. Next time I won't come here again.

Very spacious and comfortable room as always with well prepared amenities! Especially the hair dryer, definitely a must for female travelers. Responsive and helpful staff as well from the host, much appreciate the recommendations around the area. The location is superb as everything is walking distance and super convenient. Best part is the infinity pool! Definitely will come back again for my next trip. Love it as always. Keep it up!

What a strange place. It's really just condo units converted to various hotels within the same block. Location wise -- not near any restaurants, just 3 minimarts next door. Dead at night. Filled with PRC tourists trying to take photos of the infinity view, which really is quite tiny (about 15 deck chairs). Breakfast is poor by Msian standards. Lifts are the worst -- they turn off one of the lifts in the evening for no apparent reason when the lifts are crazy to get into in the first place. Because of its locale, everyone has to get Grab cars, which means a constant mass orgy of cars in the driveway. The reception is adamant about checkin at 3pm (where is the Msian flexibility?), so there's a crazy crowd that time. Parking is stranger -- they require the TnG card to be validated at the concierge, so do rmbr not to leave that in the car. Overall, this is an overpriced hotel, made popular (for no good reason other than Tik Tok or Xiaohongshu) with PRC tourists. Housekeeping though is fine and the showers are strong and warm.
