overall satisfy with the services just that although the booking is under St Giles Garden hotel however was being "transfer" to St Giles Resident because Garden hotel still under renovation. Not a good experience because i was not being notify prior when i made my booking.

I like the big space, which includes a sitting room and a kitchen. However, there was a problem with the hot water supply. There was no hot water from 7 pm in the evening. I tried calling the services and front desk. But no one picked up the call. Eventually, I had to bear with cold showers.

Stayed in their 2 bedroom apartment. Everything seems refreshed after their major renovations upgrade. Pillows on their bed could hv been firmer. Otherwise all perfect

Very spacious room with view.
Small open kitchen with a full sized fridge & sink is very useful.
Filtered water & kettle available.
There are pots & pans, plates & bowls for take away or simple cooking.
Wood flooring feels clean & cool.

We had booked the St Giles Gardens Hotel instead of the St Giles Residences. When we arrived, we were told that the Gardens Hotel was closed for renovation and that we were relocated to the Residences instead. To be fair, the Residences had been recently renovated and the service apartment was clean, with the flooring re-laid with vinyl finishing. Overall, the rooms were clean, the amenities were nice and there is a 24/7 lounge with free hot drinks and biscuits. However, I had paid an additional SGD20 to book the Gardens Hotel instead of the Residences, so it is not fair to put me in a cheaper accommodation without prior notice. In fact, why was the hotel still listed as available for booking if it is closed for renovation?
I called Trip.com to enquire about this, and Trip.com offered me compensation in the form of Trip Coins, as the hotel was unwilling to do anything. Therefore I am only giving 1 star for the hotel service.
