The location is gorgeous. Had impala walking past our chalet in the morning. Food at the restaurant is overpriced and not very good. The chalet was clean and well maintained but not of a 5 star standard. A good place for walks just generally relaxing.

The location was beautiful, conference room was well equipped, but our rooms were lacking in the finer details. We were forgotten to be picked up for our game drive at the Lion and Rhino park, as reception didn’t contact the reserve to come and fetch us. The bathrooms near our conference room were not cleaned from the day before and our rooms were not maintained to a standard which you would expect from a resort like this.

From arrival to departure five stars all the way, especially at the Spa and restaurant. Food was amazing, thank you to the Chef.

The food and staff were good, particularly Esther. The rooms however are dated, and in desperate need of an upgrade, the carpets are filthy and stained, pillows most uncomfortable and the mosquitoes make for a restless night especially since there is no provision for any mosquitoes nets. The linen is clean but the furniture is scuffed and old, and the bathroom in need of a good scrub. Shade-net parking would be welcomed in all parking areas; not just the reception area. Not 5-star, maybe 3.5. Beautiful scenery and setting, very tranquil.

Venue, food, service and staff friendliness were superb. Disappointed thought with the general state of the suite as furniture items appear dated showing significant scuff marks, casual seating in room and open lounge areas also appear dated, worn and in some instances soiled. Items like the bedside cabinets are rocking back and forth and drawers was initially sticky to open. There appears to be some need for refurbishment/ cleaning of the mentioned items. The wooden bridge from the executive rooms to the main reception and restaurant area had more than one main support that is heavily corroded (holed already bigger than fist size) and together with earlier mentioned items made me to question maintenance thoroughness.

We Received excellent service From Kloofzicht, upon arrival we greeted and assisted in a professional manner. Our room was Beautifully done with the romantic turn down it really exceeded our expectations. Staff were warm and friendly. The Location & Amenities was great. The swimming pool close to the rooms was not the best as it needed to be cleaned and there were no towels Other than that, we were really happy and enjoyed every minute of being There. Will be back soon :)

Thank you to the staff and management and staff that made the stay at Kloofzicht an unforgettable stay. the food was good, and service was even better. The Manager and General manager was always around to insure the great service we received.
