Das Hotel hat mich sehr angesprochen. Das Personal dort ist sehr freundlich, nett, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Es wurde jeder Wunsch umgesetzt. Selbst an Heiligabend, wo keine offiziellen Öffnungszeiten für die Sauna waren, hat die Hotelleitung, weil es unser freier Tag war, die Sauna angeheizt. Das Frühstücksbufett war sehr reichhaltig und optisch schön dekoriert und auch das Abendessen, sei es als Buffet oder Menue serviert worden, war ein Träumchen. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt, weil ich rundum verwöhnt wurde.

Die zwei Tage im Wikingerhof waren wunderbar. Schöne Zimmer, freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Es gibt einen Aufzug um in den ersten Stock zu gelangen. Bei schönem Wetter kann man im Biergarten sitzen und sich verwöhnen lassen. Es gibt eine Saunalandschaft.

Zimmer echt i.O., Frühstück verbesserungsfähig
Wir haben das Hotel als Zwischenstopp auf dem Weg in den Urlaub genutzt. Ruhig, sauber, autobahnnah, so weit alles in Ordnung. Leider war der Service beim Frühstück ziemlich überfordert, was bei der Anzahl der Gäste im Verhältnis zum Servicepersonal nicht verwundert. Die Auswahl am Buffet war ok, aber es wurde nichts angerichtet, wenn z.B Wurst- und Käseplatten nachgefüllt werden mussten, sondern so wie es aus der Schneidemaschine kam einfach auf einen Teller gelegt. Auch der sogenannte Obstsalat, der zu 90% aus Äpfeln bestand, war so grob geschnitten, dass man ihn mit Messer und Gabel essen musste. Insgesamt machte das Buffet einen sehr chaotischen Eindruck.

BIG NO!!
The reason I booked this hotel is that in the description it said there was a restaurant. Since I had been driving all day my plan was to have dinner at the hotel. When I arrived 20.30 I was told the restaurant was closed. I asked when the restaurant closed and got the answer "It depends'. On what?? The waitress was sitting in the reception chatting with the receptionist and refused to even make a sandwich. It was obvious the only thing on the agenda for the receptionist and the waitress was to go home.
Very unprofessionell.
In the room you could hear when people in other rooms even brushed their teeth because of the vwry loud noice the pipes did when water was poured. Must be something wrong with the pipes.
