Medusa Hotel

Wonderful family run hotel. So friendly and helpful. Beautiful. The rooms are nice too. Very clean. All types of rooms catered for from room only to self catering and full board. Great pool. I must say though, some people expected to get everything . Some people you would never be able to please. Just difficult people in general. Some nationalities forget they are representing their country. Their behaviour was disgraceful. But the wonderful family did their best to try to keep their guest happy and tried to cater to their ridiculous needs. The family are so wonderful. Daphnia the hotel mum is a beautiful lady . Achilles her husband a happy man And the young adults Dino and his beautiful sister are a credit to their mother and father. I felt so included and cared for. So anyone who posts poor reviews are being snobbish. Not worth the reading. Seriously you would love this family hotel. The other staff are lovely too. That explains why people have been returning for years.

Just returned home from another fantastic stay here , this was our 3rd time. Such a friendly family run hotel with Daphne, Achilleas, Eleanor and Dino doing their utmost to help. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough ,we feel part of the Greek family now. Ignore the odd negative review ,some people moan about anything, look at the most positive ones! We can't wait to return next year and hopefully meet up with friends we have met previously who keep coming back. And yes you do pay hotel tax and for the air-conditioning but that's same for all hotels I've stayed in Greece. Hotel usually does a bbq one night a week with greek dancing.(which is fun) Bar snacks available throughout the day.

This is a very basic hotel, smallest bathroom ever, the shower is a joke, no cubicle, just a curtain, water goes all over the floor, not one tv channel in english, the beach is a long long distance from the hotel, and the hill up to bars etc is a killer, will never return to this hotel, best thing about holiday was the hotel's pizza and Orestis in the Casablanca bar.

The positives, the hotel is well situated between the main ***** and the beach. There are plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are spacious, as are the balconies. Sadly, that is it. The negatives, for us, definitely outweighed the positives. From the moment we checked in it was apparent that the hotel bar/pool area music was loud. This continued all day only to be cranked up even higher in the evening. It was so loud we could hear every word of every song whilst lying in bed trying to sleep. Most nights it was accompanied by shouting, clattering of chairs and karaoke. We like to make the most of the sunshine and sunbathe or go out to the beach or visit local areas, come back to shower, eat out, have a few beers/wines etc and come back to chill and go to bed. The music and loud noise didn’t stop till generally around 1.30/2am every single night. Judging by the rest of the hotel clientele, many older couples (65/70+) the men/lads we saw didn’t appear to be hotel guests, not sure if hotel open to locals late night after bars in village closed. The day before we left we overheard another couple mention the noise to Daphne the “house mother” (!) and her friend who seems to be on site every day and the friends answer was “people like to have a few drinks and enjoy themselves” Perfect customer service!

I'm writing to express my distressing experience at Hotel Medusa in Halkidiki. During our stay, I was verbally attacked and physically pushed by the hotel owner after I approached her about a towel issue. Her reaction was shocking and completely unjustified. After the incident, I felt unsafe and anxious for the remainder of our holiday. Rather than receiving support, the customer service representative dismissed my concerns, telling me the owner had her version of events and reminding me about a “towel policy.” This response felt belittling and only heightened my feelings of helplessness. At checkout, I was further frustrated when the owner charged us an unexpected “air conditioning fee” that hadn’t been disclosed. I paid it just to avoid another confrontation, which added to my distress. As a customer of Jet2, I expected a certain standard and protection from such incidents. This experience has shattered my trust in the company and ruined what should have been a relaxing getaway. I feel it’s important to warn others about Hotel Medusa.!
