The hotel is set in beautiful landscaped gardens, with lovely views across to the sea. The standard apartment we had was very clean, had a double bed, a single bed and a small kitchenette. The shower room/wet room was new and had a very good shower. There was a nice balcony looking on to trees with the sea in the background. Breakfast has plenty to offer (cakes, pastries, breads, fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese, eggs, bacon, sausages, beans). The hotel is situated down a hill from the resort. It is about a ten minute walk up the hill to the resort. A very busy main road runs through it. There are several very good restaurants and bars, a couple of supermarkets and a play area for children. Crossing the road can be quite difficult, but a set of traffic lights does slow the traffic down and allow people to cross. There is a lovely little beach with sunbeds further down the hill from the hotel. It's quite busy but it's sandy and the sea is warm. There are good sunbeds with shade for 15 euros. Great views across to the next peninsula. The hill is not for anyone with mobility problems, but the hotel runs a regular shuttle bus to the beach, which is great. The pool at the hotel is really good, it is deep though but there is a small pool for very young children. There are always free sunbeds during the day. We didn't hire a car, but we spoke to people who did, and they found it easy to drive around the area. We had a lovely week here. The only thing that would stop us returning is the resort and its busy road. The hotel itself is one of the best I have been to in Greece and worthy of its 4 stars (Greek rating).
