Great great diving! What a wonderful experience diving with captain dons! We stayed here two weeks and massively enjoyed the diving behind the hotel. Staff was friendly and tanks were easily accessible. The marine life was out of this world from turtles to spotted eels! The water was a little cold for us (82 F), but other than that I can’t say enough good stuff! We especially enjoyed the help from dive instructor Brian! I cannot recommend him enough!

I recently enjoyed a four-day dive stay at Captain Don’s Habitat, and it was an unforgettable experience. For anyone seeking a blend of rich history, natural beauty, and exceptional diving, Captain Don’s Habitat is the place to be.

This was our third stay at Captain Don's, we loved it as much as the first time, in 1998. We were upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront suite, great view, large room. 2 pools at the resort. Staff helped us with car rental options after the place we reserved with had no cars. We enjoy being in the quieter area away from town. Having a car is needed if you want to explore the island (which you definitely should) but, if you don't have a car, there's a supermarket and some restaurants walkable to the resort. Onsite dining and bar at the resort as well. Bar bites and pizza on site in addition to the full restaurant. The reef to the right was good for snorkeling, plus 2 resident tarpon had out under the restaurant.

We brought our newly certified 10 year old to the Habitat for her first dive vacation. 14 dives this week included 2 boat dives every morning and a few house reef dives off the baby dock. We had the best experience. Great dive staff and comfortable accommodations. Rum Runners had a nice breakfast buffet, and BBQ night on Monday was my husband’s favorite. Housekeeping has always done a great job, and we will definitely continue our biannual tradition of staying at Cat Don’s.

We have stayed here numerous times and Captain Don’s never disappoints. We love the staff and the laid back atmosphere. The best buffet breakfast each morning. Diving is made easy here and we love the house reef. Each time we stay here we try and bring another couple that has never been to Bonaire.

Heel fijn kleinschalig hotel ! We hadden een kamer met zeezicht met een ruim balkon. Goede service ! We hebben er enkele keren gegeten met uitzicht op zee. Het eten is van goede kwaliteit en de bediening is vriendelijk. Duikschool aanwezig. We hebben er een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Perfecte baantje gehad in dit hotel. We logeerden in room 209, in de gardenview luxe villa's. Deze zijn fris, heel schoon en netjes. Dagelijks service, schoonmaak en nieuwe handdoeken indien gewenst. Goede receptie met tips voor de mogelijkheden op het eiland. Strand badlaken service gratis, iedere gast kan een badhanddoek halen en I dien gewenst steeds omruilen voor een schone handdoek, super service. Het hele complex ziet er erg mooi uit en ook de tuinen zijn mooi onderhouden. Parkeren van de huurauto kan op het eigen terrein. Dit terrein is snachts net een slagboom met portier afgesloten. Op het terrein ook een duikshop en een souvenir winkel. Je kunt er gemakkelijk via trapjes te water gaan om te snorkelen of te duiken. Ver op het terrein een fantastische cocktailbar en een heel goed restaurant genaamd RumRunn ers, hier wordt ook het ontbijt geserveerd. Kortom een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Best dive masters. Great crew. Carlos, Narcis, Sherman, Justin, Lars, Ludson. The whole place is just a laid back cool dive resort to stay. You really can’t do any better. I took my wife and 2 daughters who were young divers and they really made it special for them.
