Sorobon is echt een paradijs op aarde. Wij zaten zowel in een ocean grot beach house als in Kas Grandi en allebei waren zo schoon, mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. (Klein) strand met fantastisch uitzicht en prima ligbedjes. Restaurant was ook top, lekker eten, wijn en top bediening. Wij komen terug!

Wij hebben een onvergetelijke vakantie gehad op Sorobon beach. Alles was voortreffelijk. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en deed er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken. Over 2 jaar komen wij weer! Echt een fantastische tijd gehad. Liefs familie Den Blanken huisje 5 xxx

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour au Sorobon, mais parler d'un endroit luxueux est un peu exagéré. La situation de l'hôtel ainsi que Lac Bay en font un endroit de luxe, mais l'hôtel lui-même a encore un peu de chemin à faire. Voici quelques exemples: - Il n'y a pas de rideau permettant d'avoir de la nuit ... dès 6h vous êtes réveillé et le petit déjeuner n'ouvre qu'à 8h. - Notre fille a dormi sur un canapé-lit dont la qualité laissait vraiment à désirer. - Le produit de douche n'a jamais été rempli (en 6 jours). - Les plaques de cuisson ne fonctionnaient pas, aucune solution n'a été trouvée. - On demande un sèche-cheveux, ce dernier arrive le lendemain. - Les capsules de café n'ont jamais été rempli. - Il manque un grille-pain. - Chaque jour nous avons dû aller chercher un linge manquant à la réception. - La nourriture au restaurant était EXCELLENTE !! Mais le service :( .... très mal organisé et du coup SUPER lent ... Le personnel se donnait de la peine, mais on avait l'impression de voir des amateurs travailler. Ce sont bien évidemment des détails, et cela n'a pas gâché notre séjour. Mais au vu du prix de la nuit, et quand on se définit comme un endroit luxueux .... on peut s'attendre à un meilleur service.

We hebben hier een zalige vakantie gehad. Echt, alles klopte. Het hele resort is prachtig vernieuwd, met veel oog voor detail. Je voelt je meteen op je gemak. En die setting… wat een plek. De tuin, de zee, het licht—het is alsof je midden in een tropische droom leeft. Wat dit resort extra bijzonder maakt, is de sfeer. Iedereen is zo vriendelijk en oprecht gastvrij, je voelt je geen nummer maar gewoon écht welkom. Dat maakt zó’n verschil. De Reef Bar? Top. Supervers eten, veel lokale ingrediënten, mooie bordjes zonder poespas. Alles wat we proefden was lekker. Ook de cocktails zijn meer dan de moeite—origineel, goed gebalanceerd en met zorg gemaakt. Perfect bij zonsondergang. En ja hoor, zelfs Stella van ’t vat voor wie daar zin in heeft. De wijnkaart mocht er trouwens ook zijn. Samengevat: dit is zo’n plek waar je niet één keer heen gaat, maar waar je naar terugverlangt zodra je vertrekt. Wij boeken sowieso opnieuw.

Je hebt uitzicht op een kristalheldere lagune. Dit resort voelt als een verborgen parel waar rust, luxe en natuur samenkomen. De accommodaties zijn tot in de puntjes verzorgd : stijlvolle houten cabana’s met een Caribische flair, heerlijk comfortabel bed, open badkamer en een terras. Alles is ontworpen met oog voor detail en duurzaamheid. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk, professioneel en altijd bereid om nét dat stapje extra te zetten. Het restaurant is een culinaire verrassing. Verse lokale producten, gezonde opties, smaakvolle cocktails en uitzicht over het water maken elke maaltijd een belevenis. Vooral de verse visgerechten zijn niet te missen. Wat Sorobon echt uniek maakt is de ligging aan Lac Bay . Het is een rustige baai met kalm, ondiep water en een constante zeebries. Perfect om te windsurfen, paddleboarden of gewoon te ontspannen op het privéstrand. Geen massatoerisme, geen lawaai.

Wij hebben hier een fantastische ervaring gehad. Het eten was van topkwaliteit – smaakvol, vers en met zorg bereid. De bediening verdient ook een dikke pluim: vriendelijk, attent en altijd met een glimlach. Wat het plaatje compleet maakt, zijn de accommodaties. Deze zijn niet alleen comfortabel, maar ook bijzonder stijlvol en tot in de puntjes afgewerkt. Je merkt aan alles dat hier veel aandacht is besteed aan kwaliteit en gastvrijheid. Wij komen zeker terug!

Sorobon Resort in Bonaire exceeded our expectation and provided our family of four with a super island experience in an environment full of wilderness. From the moment you arrive time slows down and nature takes the stage. The location is unbeatable – right on the amazing Lac Bay with its shallow, crystal-clear waters and gentle breeze. It’s ideal for windsurfing (lessons are available right on site), but also perfect for simply relaxing in the warm water. The private beach is quiet, clean, and equipped with shaded loungers. The accommodations are spacious enough and charming, bringing together true island vibes with modern comfort. Our « beach house » was just steps from the water and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a comfy bed. The fold out sofa is ok for kids but may be a little light weight for teenagers. What sets Sorobon apart is the laid-back atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, always available without being intrusive. We also loved the yoga sessions – a perfect addition to the tranquil setting. Sorobon Resort isn’t your typical commercial hotel – and that’s what makes it special. If you stay a few days, a car rental is a must as the resort is a 15 min drive from the city center.
