Great location, just inside the north gate of Ild town. 10 minutes walk to Krakow main station, well indicated path, easy to walk with rolling suitcases. Beautiful old world hotel. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended

Really a great hotel to browse the plentyful attractions of beautiful Krakow. Friendly, smiling, helpful staff, good size rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet, relaxing. Satisfactory, tasty breakfast. Enjoyable lounge lower ground floor, covered bar terrace ground floor. And most important, most of the attractions and the beautiful park within walking distance. Highly recommended

We picked this hotel as it was close to the Florian gate & Barbakan. Plus a short walk to the train station. Really nice hotel, the style you would expect for this type of this historical building. The hotel is clean & tidy throughout. Yes the decor reflects the style of the hotel. But it has most of the amenities you would want in your room. We had a standard room, hoping for a city wall view, but got the rear wall of the hotel instead! The room was large enough, plenty of space. Could use a few more clothes hangers though! Has tea/coffee/bottles of water. A fridge/mini bar. Tv. The only thing it could have done with is a usb charging point. AC was adequate. Bathroom nice a clean. Shower was good pressure. And toiletries supplied in there too. One little moan - tea & milk don’t always get replenished. But wasn’t a problem asking for more. Staff were pleasant & very helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice, hot & cold. We didn’t try the restaurant so I can’t comment about it.

The hotel is next to the Florian gate on the city walls just five minutes walk from the Stary Rynek (Old Market) We had a suite of rooms once graced by Prince and Princess Czartoryski as evidenced by a framed certificate on the door. There was an anteroom, a sitting room a dressing area, bedroom, bathroom and two washrooms. Everything was as it should be. We did not have the breakfast which can be included in the price so cannot comment. We did have dinner in the hotel restaurant Pijarska (named after the street). Dinner was excellent with traditional Polish dishes done in an international style, for instance lamb Pierogi. Overall this was one of the most interesting places we have stayed at. The Czartoryski museum up the street is a definite must. It encapsulates a great deal of Polish history in a small enough space which does not overwhelm the visitor.
