Krabi Maritime Resort

We loved this resort and felt so lucky to had found this amazing property at discount. The staff was very attentive, make us feel like royalty, the pool was incredible, the room was spacious with an amazing view, the bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was huge with separate shower and tub. The resort looks isolating but is not, city central is within walking distance, transportation comes quick at all times (we used Bolt), no issues with deliveries either (we used Lineman), and had no issues finding transportation for early airport flight. We purchase an island tour from a travel agency at city central and that included pickup and drop-off from this hotel, we had other plan but changed that in order to enjoy this property, highly recommended you spare a day or some time and spend it here relaxing, cannot say enough about the pool.

Excellent value hotel. Very grand. They are reopening after the issues overhanging from covid. The scenery is excellent. The service from all staff is also outstanding, very friendly. As other reviewers have noted, there are some small things that could be improved upon, like some extra plug sockets in the rooms for modern convenience. If you don't mind this then it's a great value hotel, assuming they keep making improvements to restore it.

This resort has great bones, could be a 5* hotel if it was done up. The scenery is stunning and the resort is huge. Other than this, there aren’t many positives. The hotel is completely deserted. No staff, no guests. 98% of the rooms are ruined and not functioning. The rooms that are opened are not modern and quite dirty. The house keeping room stinks and makes me question the cleanliness of towels and room changeovers (see pictures). The rooms next to the pool have the curtains open and doors open, showing fallen in roofs and rooms that appear to be used by homeless. We are on the fifth floor and 2 other rooms on our floor are open. We went inside and it looks as if staff are using the rooms to eat and sleep in, as there is tons of food left out and bins overflowing but the food isn’t mouldy. There are shoes almost everywhere, looking like people left in a hurry a while ago. There’s also bird poo everywhere. This hotel could honestly be really nice if it had some investment to be done up. Such a shame. Also if you read old reviews about there being lots of spots in the resort to chill in the scenery with your partner, or see pictures online of beautiful wooden structures outside near the lake or pool where you can eat, these structures have fallen in and aren’t usable. And again if you see pretty flowers and the vibrant maritime krabi hotel sign in pictures, the flower pots aren’t here anymore and the sign is filthy.

This place is very scary because there are no people, and everything looks like it’s about to fall into a thousand pieces. There are animals everywhere, from monitor lizards and monkeys to small lizards, bee nests, and many others. The rooms are dirty and old. The bathroom has stains all over, and after taking a shower, you don’t even feel clean.
