The hotel location is about the best part of the stay. Want to start by saying I arrived a day ahead of a different booking for another hotel and picked this out of needing something immediately. From my check-in I was interrogated as to where else I as staying and when answer was given it was written down? Why is that information important or their business??!! After being given a key to go to my room I arrive to find the door wide open and the room not clean, I walk back down the loud stairs since there wasn't a lift, and was given a different room, this room was cleaned however upon entering the room was as hot as outside on typical Thai climate afternoon, the air conditioning did not work the entire time I stayed, the shower... had zero hot water. Who has a hotel and allows guests to pay for that? I would not waste your money to be interrogated and given one disappointment after another. Please seek different accommodation elsewhere.

PK Mansion was an ideal place to stay in Ao Nang, just off the main road so it was super quiet with the beach a small walk, shops & restaurants. The room was super clean, freshly made bed & towels each day with a balcony. You can book tours & transfers from the hotel. Staff are very welcoming & friendly.

The mattress is terrible, it is impossible to sleep, especially if you are with a partner. Because if your partner turns over, then you automatically jump on the bed. It is terrible, the night was very bad.
Thin blankets.
No elevator.
No kettle or hair dryer. They didn't even give you glasses.
On the plus side - good location, there is a nice view of the sea (from the 4th floor for sure!).
It was clean.
The girls at the reception were nice, they kindly allowed us to leave our things and even gave us new towels for the beach.

Its a simple hotel for very cheap price. Cant expect too much. Bed is not super comfortable but its okay for few days. Staff was very kind, room was decently cleaned and for the price I am happy with my stay.
