We were taken to this hotel after our flight was cancelled due to a technical problem onboard the aircraft which they were unable to remedy to enable us to fly, the hotel looks fairly new from the outside although I’m unsure if the hotel is new or refurbished. On arrival we all descended on the check in desk, the guy on duty did well to quickly handle and try and get everyone issued with a room especially since this was about four in the morning when we arrived. The room that we were allocated was number 108 which on first appearance was relatively small however clean and tidy, what did puzzle me slightly was what appeared to be a piece of metal rebar on the main wall which had just been left and painted over 😂 . Again as I’ve said previously I’m unsure if the hotel is new or refurbished , as in the bathroom there was no shower curtain so we couldn’t put the shower on full force otherwise the whole of the bathroom floor would have been soaked. Level one where we had our room is where breakfast is provided, and whether I wanted to sleep more than the three hours i managed or not there was very little chance because of the noise from the very basic kitchen area. Breakfast was very very basic and consisted of one cereal of some sort 🤷♂️ , boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, a Turkish savoury pastry, what I think was pate of some sort and bread and jam. Quite a number of the part from our flight opted to go to one of the local shops next door , and purchased some to eat from there. As I didn’t really check out the grounds or other facilities in the hotel, I cannot comment any further, as it was a means to and end after spending almost 10 hours in an airport between waiting to board, sitting on an aircraft for two hours before deplaning retrieving our luggage etc and being bussed to the hotel.
