Aphrodite Hills Hotel

The best stay, again! :) We have been coming back to this amazing resort and a hotel for many years. This time we stayed at the hotel to celebrate our twin girls 10th birthday, and the exceptional service we received from Mr George at Customer Relations was just incredible. A big THANK YOU, Mr George, once again, for getting the best birthday cake for our girls, for organising everything for us, for taking us for a lovely scenic ride around the resort and making our girls feel special on their big day.. Thank you also for assisting us with extending our stay last minute, despite the hotel being full, and a wonderful upgrade to a suite. You really made our stay unforgettable! Also thank you to lovely receptionists Ewa and Peter, who always greeted us with a big smile and made us feel at home. We truly had the best time (as always) and we can’t wait to be back :)

Our 6th visit to this wonderful hotel. The bedrooms are spacious the bathroom has good quality toiletries, plenty of towels and a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water. The bedrooms and all public areas are well maintained and kept spotless credit for this goes to the housekeeping staff. The main pool has in the last 12 months had a complete refurbishment which is wonderful and plenty of sun beds. The rule for sun-beds if they are reserved before 9am pool staff will remove your personal items. They may remove personal items from beds if left unattended for long periods of time during the day. An excellent choice of restaurants and the food is wonderful. What really makes this hotel special are the staff, Lucian Kera & Vasilias & their supervisor Antrim provide a first class service around the pool. Inessa, Ana, Asya & Justine make all your meals in the Fig & Olive special, they are friendly, helpful and always greet you with a smile.Mr Andreas (head pastry chef) still makes the most amazing lemon meringue pie. One last thank you to Sami manager of Jasmines & Lydia & Veerpal guest relations you went above and beyond to ensure our holiday was extra special. We highly recommend this hotel, it’s the staff that make it extra special which is why we keep returning. Already booked for next year.

We are fussy vegetarians and this is the best all inclusive for veggies we have ever been to. So much so that have just booked to go back in October. The restaurant and bar staff were amazing and we were so well looked after. The resort is clean and well maintained. The rooms were a delight, but if you ask me that I am most looking forward to, it has got to be the most amazing desserts. The lemon cheese cake and chocolate brownie were heavenly.

Fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean, beautiful grounds, great food and exceptional staff. Would be a five out of five were it not for the restrictions on the a la carte restaurants. Of the 8 restaurants, 3 were included in the all inclusive package, 1 was the buffet and the other 4 were at additional cost. Could only visit the a la carte one each per week so left with buffet for the rest of the nights. The food at the buffet is really good but I just prefer being waited on and buffets always have a “canteen like” feel to them. That said we are already planning our return to this lovely little hotel. The staff really make it, they work so hard and are so friendly. Special mention to Kameliya at the adult bar. She works tirelessly in the heat ensuring we always have a drink poolside. Always remembers your room number and what drinks you like to drink and when. Always a smile on her face. An exceptional member of staff who stood out in a team of great staff. Would also like to mention Anna & Inna in the adult section of the buffet…..again super service with a smile always. Nothing too much trouble. Mentions to for Ionna at the poolside bar and the staff at lunchtime at El Sabo restaurant working hard in the heat ensuring Rooms clean and really comfy beds. If you like cats there are plenty around looking for some fuss so bring some licky licks for them! Well done to the management for the running of this resort. We will be back!

Not a 5-Star Experience – Some Highs, But Plenty of Lows We stayed here during peak season and unfortunately found the overall experience to fall short of the hotel’s 5-star rating. Positives first: The staff were excellent throughout—friendly, helpful, and hardworking in all areas from reception to restaurant service. The hotel itself is attractive, especially the spacious, well-maintained lobby and hall areas. Restaurants are clean and plentiful, and the pool area is well-kept. Sunbeds are crowded around the family pools but adults only is lovely. Our room was a good size and comfortable overall. Housekeeping did a solid job, and we had no issues with cleanliness or facilities in the room. However, a few things really let the experience down: The sunbed situation is ridiculous. By 6:30-7:00am, guests are already reserving beds with towels, and by 8:00am it’s a sea of towels and few actual people. It’s stressful and unfair for families or anyone hoping for a relaxed morning. The hotel did what it could to remove towels but it had little effect. The buffet scenes were eye-watering—not due to the food (which was decent), but due to the sheer greed of some guests. People piling up mountains of food with no intention of eating it. It was wasteful and uncomfortable to witness. Entertainment was weak, especially in the second week. While it wasn’t to our taste, we acknowledge that many guests seemed to enjoy it—so perhaps it’s just a matter of the hotel catering to its core audience, which is fair enough. Overall, our first week was much better than the second—perhaps due to fewer people or a different crowd—but we left feeling disappointed. If you’re after true five-star service and atmosphere, this probably isn’t it, especially in peak season.
