Because of the train accident, my arrival time was delayed and I was so tired that I couldn't take a picture of the room, but I was assigned a spacious and clean tatami room. There was one toilet and bathroom on each floor, and although they were shared for each floor, I was able to use them comfortably without bumping into other guests. The bathroom had a bathtub with a boiler, and it was very spacious, which was nice. The water in the bathtub was hot without getting cold, which was really nice. 😆 For breakfast, you could choose between Japanese or Western style. I wanted to try Japanese home-cooked food, so I asked for a Japanese-style breakfast, and it was a really delicious, simple, and filling breakfast. I felt like I was eating at my grandmother's house in the countryside. He drove me to the entrance of Konpira and brought my luggage to the station later on time. It was a warm bed and breakfast that impressed me from beginning to end. This place makes me want to go to Kotohira again. Great room with great hosts so nice and helpful who took us into town by car to the restaurant and to the station to catch our train back. Breakfast was also fantastic. One of our best addresses from our trip to Japan
