Seurahuone Kotka is under renovation from March 2024 to summer 2025. Our hotel is open throughout the renovation. Renovation works are done mostly on weekdays between 9am and 6pm. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Good restaurants on site . Excellent breakfast with full and varied choice to satisfy all tastes .
Room rather too warm for my comfort and unable to adjust thermostat , comfortable bed.excellent shower . Would stay again oh and if travelling with children lovely play park opposite the hotel great for under 10’s

Hyvä hotelli keskellä kaikkea. Remonttia hotellin tiloissa meneillään, aamulla poraus yms äänet kantautuivat huoneeseen selvästi. Haaveeksi jäi pienet aamupvä nokoset, näistä olisi hyvä olla maininta jos ääni haittaa ilmenee.

Annoyed recepcionist
Love the hotel have been there before,
however at the check out the receptionist was not the most friendly I would say. The room was prepaid she said if I wanted an invoice I have to go to the app where I booked and get it there.
I didn’t quite understand as normally they give me the invoice there , but she seemed annoyed Jsut for the simple fact of explaining me.
Also this time the room didn’t have a bad tub. Instead was a good room with a very tiny shower in one side and bigger shower in another side where a bathtub would have been great.
