We stayed some 10 days at the Habitat Hotel and never before we had such a fantastic experience. The friendliness of the staff is fantastic. People are very courteous and available. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The food is plentiful and various. Beach is great, and rather clean. Miles of sand and waves with only a few people walking along. At two occasions we had the opportunity to experience the great service and kindness of the staff and management. The day after our arrival we had a problem with a “lost phone” and immediately reported to the reception. The manager got involved personally and dispatched a man to look around the beach, and swimming pool. Finally it was found. During our stay it appeared that my wife had her birthday and to our surprise they had organized a special event for her at dinner, including a tasteful cake, candles, flowers and a greeting from the whole staff… just GREAT! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and contacts wanting to visit Sri Lanka. Thank you to all the staff and wish you a successful future for the business. Gerard P.

The staff broke out into a fight that got physical. Cops came and a worker was injured. There was no dinner available to the guests as the cook was involved with the commotion

We were at this hotel for two nights and had a great experience. The manager, and the staff were very attentive and the Chef and the restaurant staff provided exceptional service. It was very child friendly. This is a place that can be recommended without any reservations.

We had an amazingly relaxed stay at Habitat resort. The room was spacious, clean with a beautiful sea & pool view. The manager Mr Silva and his team were very courteous helpful and accommodating with our needs. Mr. Nuwan managed the restaurant and bar perfectly. Overall our best part of our trip to Sri lanka.

When I went to the hotel they took about 45min to find my booking and provide the room . Food was horrible. Definitely not a 4 star hotel

We celebrated my wife’s birthday at the Kosgoda Habitat Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Special thanks to Mr. Sampath, the Sales Manager, and the Front Office Manager and their amazing team for arranging a beautiful candlelight dinner to make her special day unforgettable. The level of service was exceptional, and every detail was handled with care and professionalism. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion with great service and warm hospitality, I highly recommend Kosgoda Habitat Hotel. Thank you for making our day so special!
