The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help you. From housekeeping to pool service to reception to restaurant service they are all brilliant. Firstly when we arrived it was about 1am, and we were greeted by a staff member (think his name was Thomas but could be wrong!) who was very welcoming and informed us we had a free upgrade to a Superior room with private pool! Think this was due to it nearing end of season (we stayed late October for 4 nights) so the hotel was very quiet. The room was lovely - very spacious, stylish and clean. Had a big bed, sofa and TV. The shower was lovely, the water pressure really good. The outdoor area of our room was amazing, very big with a set of sofas/armchairs and two loungers, a pool that was big to say it was private, and an outdoor shower. They had also left two sandwiches in the room for us due to us arriving late which we thought was really thoughtful. A couple of days before we left we went to reception to ask about late checkout, as our transfer to the airport was not until around 7pm. They let us have late checkout until 6pm for free, which was really kind. On departure they also gave us two bottles of olive oil as a gift. We felt the housekeeping team were really good, as we found our room was always kept so clean and tidy, and they left bottles of water and little snacks/sweets, and always left fresh towels. They give you pool towels in your room too so we didn't pack any beach/pool towels. Breakfast - we are both vegetarian and there was a real good range of choices at breakfast. Including a little fridge with bottles of dairy free milk. There was plenty of savoury and sweet, and the staff seemed willing to make you something on request. Lunch - We ate at the pool a couple of times, and we asked for something that wasn't on the menu and they were happy to accommodate. Dinner - We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the service was very good. We ordered off the vegan and vegetarian menu, and the food was lovely, and presented really nicely. The hotel was about a 30-35 minute walk away from Kos town. We found that where the hotel is there's not much to do, and it's about a 5-10 minute walk to nearest shop/restaurant. We walked into Kos Town one morning and spent a good few hours looking around the shops and harbour etc... and really enjoyed it. With it being October it was still lovely weather but the heat not unbearable so that meant we could do the walk comfortably there and back. The temperature was about 25 degrees most days but it was quite windy by the pool, and it did begin getting dark by about 5:30-6pm. Both of us ended up with quite a few mosquito bites, so definitely think about bringing some repellent. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are wanting a relaxing pool/beach holiday. The staff and cleanliness really make the place.
Very Good
