So far worst hotel we have been. Food: - Not much variety, only few options and many of those tasted odd or simply bad (oily and greasy) - All meat dishes were soaked with some nasty sauce - Snacks were also not what we expected for a 4-star hotel - Salads were ok Bar: - Only 1 bar and 4 coctail choises (pre-made) - Long waiting time specially at evening - Few chairs next to each others in front of the bar, not cosy at all! - No place to fill your own water bottle Room: - Air conditiong didn't work whole week, wen it did it it blowed warm air, not helpful - Beds are rock hard, very outdated rooms with cracked tiles and broken toilet - Towels were supposed to change when asked daily but for the last 2 days they had no bathing towels left so they gave us only hand towels.. Bed linen were changed 1 time. Pool: - All sunbeds were reserved at 9am, not enough for everyone - Pool towels has seen their best days, you could see right through them - Pool was ok, clean water and not too crowded Staff: - Restaurant manager (?), oh well, nothing good about him - Desk staff were mostly ignorant and rude - Bar staff were friendly Other: - Lido waterpark bus is right next to the hotel and it was free - Dinner in sister hotel was great! The food there was fantastic.

We arrived at the hotel to find out that the air conditioning had been turned off as it was the last week of the season although when we complained we were offered a fan. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was tired and looked dirty. There was a good variety of food although the hot food was lukewarm and considering we were all inclusive we had to pay for water!!
Overall we had a good holiday but we wouldnt rate the hotel 4 star.

The rooms are very clean and beautiful. The food of the hotel is very tasty and delicious✨. The bartenders are very kind and they are welcoming😊. The buildings are very beautiful and the sea is the best also. Mercy has a good energy in all his activities and he is very funny and also Nacho, Olivia, Cindy and Zuza were very good on their programmes. I love when Mercy say it is Aqua Shakey shakey time and when he say “Halellujah”. the holiday has been great in Hippo Hotel🥰

Δυστυχώς απογοητεύτηκα, γιατί πριν από 20 χρόνια που επισκέφτηκα το συγκεκριμένο συγκρότημα ξενοδοχείων είχα αποκομίσει την καλύτερη των εντυπώσεων. Είκοσι χρόνια μετά οι εντυπώσεις είναι πολύ δυσάρεστες. Το μόνο σίγουρο, δε μιλάμε για ξενοδοχείο 4 αστέρων, ιδανικό για ζευγάρια, όπως διαφημίζεται. Θα πρέπει η διεύθυνση να αναλογιστεί σε ποιο είδος τουρίστα απευθύνεται.

I read reviews before booking and as a mixture decided to try it. It was not a good expereince and I raised my concerns with management whilst there. The staff do try but as it was the end of the season, they were weary and I suspect fed up with the number of disgruntled guests. The hotel closed on our penultimate day and we were moved to the sister hotel a 5 * , the comments on the bus taking us there were "from 2* to 5*." Everybody had felt unhappy at the Kipriotis Hippocrates. The hotel does not appear to be a 4*, it is tired, pretty unclean, in our first room, the mosqueto net was damaged, part of the toilet cistern was missing, beds the most uncomfortable I've slept in, pillows passed their sell by date etc. The food was passable, but unclean stations and on the last day, butter was rancid, I politely pointed this out, but none removed. Spoke to restaurant manager, again all seemed weary and accepting. I would not return, to any of this group, others had different experiences on reviews, but the quality and attention to genuine customer care and provision of basic good facilities is simply lacking. We had one meal in the Maris another sister hotel and that was good and clean. Serious investment needed, new beds, proper repairs and better quality food needed. We stayed in Kos town for a night in a small 4* hotel, as we were fed up with the terrible matteress and the contrast was stark in terms of every aspect of the stay at the Kipriotis. Night and day. A final comment, is that some of the promotional pictures and info is simply misleading, the group of hotels are seperate and you cannot use other facilities, aside from one meal at another hotel, if booked.

• Only adults in folder Sunweb - nee dus, wel kinderen en alleen de mededeling dat only adults oude info was volstaan ze mee • Entertainment is wat de Engelse jeugd leuk vind, dom en veel zuipspelletjes met alle gevolgen van dien. Je kan niet meer met elkaar praten op het terras. DJ en bar personeel vinden zich belangrijker dan de gasten • De muziek is een verzameling Afrikaanse geluiden en geen internationale muziek zoals je in zo’n hotel mag verwachten • Hotel is all-inn. Dat kan ook makkelijk uit gezien de dagelijkse ellenlange wachtrijen op het terras, uiteindelijk bier opgehaald bij het tentje om de hoek(Mythos goed te drinken trouwens) • Drinkwater moet worden betaald in dit all inclusive hotel • Gedragsregels worden niet gehandhaafd vwb roken en vapen • Goede kamer, badkamer wel heel erg gedateerd en niet schoon • Goed eten • Bediening is deels door werknemers uit een doof en doof/stommen pool van werknemers, ze zijn vrolijk en vriendelijk. Hardstikke goed initiatief • Receptie netjes, hulpvaardig en vriendelijk • We moesten plotseling van kamer op de BG naar een kamer op de 1e verdieping. BG wordt gesloten omdat het hotel op 9/10/24 dicht gaat, waanzin. Er worden nog gasten ingecheckt tot 6/10 die niet weten dat de toko 9/10 sluit. Er zijn al mensen op andere plekken ondergebracht(wat een incheck bende) • 30/9 , 02/10, 03/10 Bed niet opgemaakt, geen schone handdoeken en prullenbak niet leeg uiteindelijk opgemaakt boos contact met receptie en 03/10 gesprek met manager. Manager gaat persoonlijk zorgen dat beide kamers schoon worden gemaakt, nieuwe handdoeken en het bed is opgemaakt 4, 5 en 6 oktober inderdaad de boel voor mekaar • De vleugel waarin o.a kamer 119 en 127 zitten hebben geen WIFI andere verdiepingen weet ik niet

You get what you pay for tbh. The hotel was outdated, the beds were horrendously uncomfortable so woke up every day knackered with our back and shoulders hurting.. the wandering cockerels (cute but annoying) woke us up every morning at 6am even with ear plugs in.. the air con had been turned off since September so even harder to sleep, nowhere in the hotel description did it say Air Con was not available, if we knew that we would not have stayed here. Our mosquitoes net was broke and we were on ground floor so couldn’t even keep a door open at night. My partner had to fix the mosquitoes net himself in the end. The food was bland and mainly the same stuff every night (we had Asian night for 3 days running), and the lads in same corridor as us woke us up for two nights by having a party and then having a fight the next. Luckily there were several complaints and security did manage the situation. Otherwise, it was nice. Pool area was nice, it was generally clean and the staff were amazing and friendly. The 3 main bar staff knew our regular orders by the end of the holiday, restaurant staff were friendly and warm, the two main receptionists were always lovely and did sort out our requests, but actually what really made the holiday was Mercy and Nachos the two activity coordinators. They had a lot of passion and enthusiasm and it was great to see and be around. If it wasn’t for them, the hotel would have been a bleak, bleak place to be. Management should take everyone’s reviews into consideration if they want people to write good reviews other than Mercy and Nachos being great. Small changes such as having air con and changing the bed would have made a huge difference to the experience

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, all the staff were amazing, especially the entertainment team Nachos and Mercy, they made us feel welcome from the second we arrived and our holiday wouldn’t of been the same without them. We will definitely come again!
