I normally do not write reviews but thought I had to make people aware . This hotel is far from a 4* hotel . Honestly if your use to visiting 4* hotels I would have to warn you this is far from 4* standards. I would say the 4* has been awarded for location on the beach/views. Please do not be fooled by the pictures like we had been. Food is basic and bland. If you’ve booked already you will soon see what I’m talking about. Pool areas were filthy as well as the pool having dirt and grim at the bottom of it. Rooms were dirty on arrival .. (sink area / deck) All inclusive drinks all tasted the same . The quality of every drink we tried out was flat and tasteless. The beach/ view of the beach was lovely but was ruined by the over grown thorns they had everywhere (all over the grass/pavements) Please if you have booked this hotel wear your shoes everywhere! The hotel seemed to be already getting ready to shut down as the beach bar was closed and there were no day/night entertainment. It was a shame as can get boring for the children. In the end we ended up walking down the beach and found Astir Odysseus 5* hotel. It saved our Hoilday !! The hotel was UNREAL .. the service and food quality was top tier . All imported drinks were included with the All inclusive bands as well as entertainment throughout the day and night. We booked in for 3 nights and what a difference it was. Pure Bliss . Honestly just pay a little bit more and go else where. As I can assure you will be gutted when arriving at Aeolos beach hotel. Hotel pro - WI-FI was good.

I was a bit unsure after reading the reviews but the rooms and staff in the hotel were excellent. The rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable (we had premium bungalows 657 and 658) which had a direct view of the sea. The bungalows appeared to have been recently refurbished. The staff were all friendly and helpful and if you like cats there were lots of them which was a lovely addition to the hotel. The hotel was closing down for winter and so perhaps wasn’t the best time to go as beach and grill restaurants were closed and pool was closing down. The description is on a stunning beach - the beach is very small and far from stunning but to be fair that didn’t detract from our stay. The sunbeds around the grass were nice and peaceful and the sea was great. The hotel isn’t really near anywhere, there’s a small shop in reception but otherwise there’s nowhere to go for a stroll. We ended up hiring a car which was easy enough and meant we got to explore Kos. The big negative was the food. The fresh salads were really good but with the hot food, choice was very limited. Breakfasts were removed early and dinner was very similar every night. The quality also wasn’t the best. The big problem was though that the food was cold. Initially I thought it was because we were late to dinner but even when we were the first in the restaurant when it opened the food was still cold. It’s a shame as it’s actually a lovely hotel with brilliant rooms and staff and you can get round the location with a car but the food did really let it down.

I was quite hesitant to come to the hotel following the reviews but overall we had a really good holiday. Starting with the cons the food isn’t great. even for an all inclusive the food is really limited and I struggled to have a full meal. Me and my partner ate out 3/7 days so it helped break the week up and didn’t ruin the holiday. If we didn’t put money away to eat out we would have really struggled. The pros definitely out way the cons. The grounds are stunning and the staff are lovely. There is limited entertainment but the bar staff are brilliant and made the holiday. We upgraded to the bungalows, we definitely recommend this as the the bungalow only pool is lovely. It needs a clean but the view is gorgeous and it’s lovely and quite. The drinks are standard all inclusive but you can pay for upgraded cocktails. You can hire cars/buggy’s through the hotel but our buggy was really unsafe and they sold it to us without a working handbrake and gear box. I was a bit shocked at this as you would think the hotel would do better checks if they are endorsing the company. Overall if you bring some extra spends with you and treat yourself to a few meals out you will have an amazing week.

Hotel was fine but definitely not four star in quality. Food was repetitive and fairly average. Not much choice and felt like it was being run down to the end of season. The labelling was hit and miss and they didn't have a lot of things, while the snack bar and beach front restaurant were shut. Staff were friendly enough, except for bar men who were full of banter and attitude. Jokes in bad taste too. Air conditioning didn't work in the room. Is a fair distance from Kos Town, about 12 euros in a taxi. Buses are every hour though. A few other guests have issues with their room but air con aside, ours was fine.

Beautiful location. Superior bungalow was very clean and spacious. Restaurant was good but food was a bit repetitive. Maybe something a bit more Greek would be nice. Easy to get to Kos town, bus leaves from just outside the hotel, only 2 euros. The one thing that stood out to us were the staff. They were all absolutely amazing. Very helpful, nothing was too much of a bother for them. I think their manager must be one very proud guy.I would definitely return..

We stayed at Aeolos 1st week in October, we booked a Premium Bungalow which gave us access to the premium pool area and dedicated sun loungers. Accommodation was modern, clean and really spacious with a view of the pool area and sea. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, accommodating and made us feel really welcome. We arrived the last day Tranquillo Bar was open and were glad we got the chance to eat and drink down by the beach, made for a great evening and was so chilled out and relaxing This was our first experience of all inclusive and were not sure what to expect. We had heard friends joke about the food on these type of holidays but we're pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of dishes on offer at this hotel. Drinks were a bit more challenging, especially for my wife who normally only drinks Cider, as there was no option on offer. Cocktails were ok but too sweet for our taste and the beer option was hard going and probably not helped by everything being served in paper cups. I understand why they offer paper cups round the pool areas but the bins fill up really quickly and are overflowing by the days end, I'd be happy to pay for a deposit glass option that you keep and get refilled which might be a better way of keeping the paper waste down and stop glasses going missing or broken carelessly. The hotel itself is a bit isolated from any bars and shops however, there is a bus stop outside the hotel with a regular service that takes you into Kos town for 2 euros. You can also hire a car from reception starting from 50 euros a day, comes fully insured, including tyres, glass paint, etc, and doesn't require a credit card deposit. The other closest town, Tigaki, is great for bars, restaurants and the beach but is a car drive or taxi away (17 euros) To sum up this is a great hotel if you want a quiet relaxing break, the premium bungalows are fantastic and so is the premium pool area. I've only taken a point off because there was no Cider option and I wasn't a fan of the paper cups. Still wouldn't put me off coming back or recommending the hotel and I definitely recommend hiring a car to get out and explore because Kos is a beautiful island.

Just got back from my holiday. I arrived late into the night and was offered a sandwich, which was a nice touch. Did all the paperwork required and paid the government/Hotel Tax, 7 euros a night. The receptionists were very pleasant and helpful throughout my stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, except that the beds kept moving. I was in a single room with 2 twin beds, every time you sat down the bed shifted scraping on the floor, then I had to keep moving it back into place. Felt sorry for the people below me but I could hear the people above me with the same bed problems. Did not deter me from sleeping though. If you are going to use twin beds find a way to lock them together so they don't move. No bath, just a shower unit which was spacious and clean, although when I came out the shower unit the main bathroom area was drenched in water from the shower. Thank goodness for the extra towels. The chambermaid who serviced room 319, was the best, she was very friendly and had no problems helping me when she could. Lovely lady. Breakfast, where do I start. American/English style breakfast is from 07:30 to 09:30 and is buffet style, then it changes to a continental style breakfast after that. No matter what time you went before 09:30 the breakfast was lukewarm at best. The trays were taken away and you were left standing there waiting, not knowing if they were coming back with a fresh tray. There is a Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate machine but its only available to access at breakfast. I did not find the dining room staff friendly, except for one male staff member, who always had a smile and a good morning/afternoon for you. I wanted to have hot chocolate with my lunch and the machines were locked. When I asked why, I was told I could access the machine by the pool. Good thing I brought my own sachets with me. The machine in the main restaurant is only accessible at breakfast. The stunning beach. They were having a laugh when they printed that on the website. The beach is a thin ***** of sand barely enough to hold 4 people standing side by side. There are no loungers on the beach but there were loads on the grassy area. please see my picture of the golden sands. I'm not lying, what a let down, it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. But saying all that I was able to sit on the lounger and read my book in relative peace and quiet. I went to find out about using the sauna and was told there wasn't one and I couldn't find the gym. If you get the time and have the money book and go to the HAMAM spa and wellness. I did 150 minutes of pure bliss. I would've been there everyday, brilliant. Make sure you bring a bikini. Would I stay there again, definite no!. This is a 3* hotel for me, not 4*. The pictures on the website bear no resemblance to the real thing. If you wanted peace and quiet, then this is the place to come, loved that about it. It's just a pity that it is let down by the food and the lack of am
