Beautiful location. Superior bungalow was very clean and spacious. Restaurant was good but food was a bit repetitive. Maybe something a bit more Greek would be nice. Easy to get to Kos town, bus leaves from just outside the hotel, only 2 euros. The one thing that stood out to us were the staff. They were all absolutely amazing. Very helpful, nothing was too much of a bother for them. I think their manager must be one very proud guy.I would definitely return..

We stayed at Aeolos 1st week in October, we booked a Premium Bungalow which gave us access to the premium pool area and dedicated sun loungers. Accommodation was modern, clean and really spacious with a view of the pool area and sea. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, accommodating and made us feel really welcome. We arrived the last day Tranquillo Bar was open and were glad we got the chance to eat and drink down by the beach, made for a great evening and was so chilled out and relaxing This was our first experience of all inclusive and were not sure what to expect. We had heard friends joke about the food on these type of holidays but we're pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of dishes on offer at this hotel. Drinks were a bit more challenging, especially for my wife who normally only drinks Cider, as there was no option on offer. Cocktails were ok but too sweet for our taste and the beer option was hard going and probably not helped by everything being served in paper cups. I understand why they offer paper cups round the pool areas but the bins fill up really quickly and are overflowing by the days end, I'd be happy to pay for a deposit glass option that you keep and get refilled which might be a better way of keeping the paper waste down and stop glasses going missing or broken carelessly. The hotel itself is a bit isolated from any bars and shops however, there is a bus stop outside the hotel with a regular service that takes you into Kos town for 2 euros. You can also hire a car from reception starting from 50 euros a day, comes fully insured, including tyres, glass paint, etc, and doesn't require a credit card deposit. The other closest town, Tigaki, is great for bars, restaurants and the beach but is a car drive or taxi away (17 euros) To sum up this is a great hotel if you want a quiet relaxing break, the premium bungalows are fantastic and so is the premium pool area. I've only taken a point off because there was no Cider option and I wasn't a fan of the paper cups. Still wouldn't put me off coming back or recommending the hotel and I definitely recommend hiring a car to get out and explore because Kos is a beautiful island.

Just got back from my holiday. I arrived late into the night and was offered a sandwich, which was a nice touch. Did all the paperwork required and paid the government/Hotel Tax, 7 euros a night. The receptionists were very pleasant and helpful throughout my stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, except that the beds kept moving. I was in a single room with 2 twin beds, every time you sat down the bed shifted scraping on the floor, then I had to keep moving it back into place. Felt sorry for the people below me but I could hear the people above me with the same bed problems. Did not deter me from sleeping though. If you are going to use twin beds find a way to lock them together so they don't move. No bath, just a shower unit which was spacious and clean, although when I came out the shower unit the main bathroom area was drenched in water from the shower. Thank goodness for the extra towels. The chambermaid who serviced room 319, was the best, she was very friendly and had no problems helping me when she could. Lovely lady. Breakfast, where do I start. American/English style breakfast is from 07:30 to 09:30 and is buffet style, then it changes to a continental style breakfast after that. No matter what time you went before 09:30 the breakfast was lukewarm at best. The trays were taken away and you were left standing there waiting, not knowing if they were coming back with a fresh tray. There is a Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate machine but its only available to access at breakfast. I did not find the dining room staff friendly, except for one male staff member, who always had a smile and a good morning/afternoon for you. I wanted to have hot chocolate with my lunch and the machines were locked. When I asked why, I was told I could access the machine by the pool. Good thing I brought my own sachets with me. The machine in the main restaurant is only accessible at breakfast. The stunning beach. They were having a laugh when they printed that on the website. The beach is a thin ***** of sand barely enough to hold 4 people standing side by side. There are no loungers on the beach but there were loads on the grassy area. please see my picture of the golden sands. I'm not lying, what a let down, it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. But saying all that I was able to sit on the lounger and read my book in relative peace and quiet. I went to find out about using the sauna and was told there wasn't one and I couldn't find the gym. If you get the time and have the money book and go to the HAMAM spa and wellness. I did 150 minutes of pure bliss. I would've been there everyday, brilliant. Make sure you bring a bikini. Would I stay there again, definite no!. This is a 3* hotel for me, not 4*. The pictures on the website bear no resemblance to the real thing. If you wanted peace and quiet, then this is the place to come, loved that about it. It's just a pity that it is let down by the food and the lack of am

Before travelling here I did read all the mixed reviews and for those who had a bad experience, I’m sorry for you as so far my stay has been excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. All the staff are extremely friendly, always with a smile and a laugh. My room is clean and comfortable, just right for a solo travelling woman. Room refreshed regularly, wine and water in my room upon arrival and the iron I had requested ahead of time! My room faces the pool area and sea in the near distance. Just what you need to see on waking, to sit in morning contemplation and feel grateful for all that you have. I’m not even half way through my R&R here, and I’m already feeling I need to come back again next year. I didn’t choose a bungalow but wish I had now as they do look amazing and have their own separate pool area which is nice. I’m yet to fully explore the beach on the doorstep but there are parts that are pebbly but still, you can walk along, feel the water lapping at your feet and just be thankful for life! It is tranquil. Finally, and of course, no holiday in Kos is complete without the added company of feline friends! ;-)

My wife and I stayed at the hotel from 19th to 24th September in a Premium Sea View bungalow which was excellent with superb sea views. The restaurants and food were good and the service at the main pool bar was good. When we left and arrived at the airport for our flight home my wife realised that she had left her scarf in our room. I rang the hotel and they sent a staff member to our room and retrieved her scarf. The hotel asked for our address and told us that they would send the scarf to us with no charge. The scarf duly arrived yesterday as promised which we both think is exceptional service and real credit to the hotel staff. Many thanks for this as the scarf holds some sentimental value.

Booked and paid for a premium seaview bungalow in Sept/Oct which is fantastic. The Premium allocated pool with your own sunbed (Bungalow number on it) so no need to get up at silly o'clock to put your towel on one is a fantastic idea. The Beach restaurant which is for the Premium bungalows use, is also fantastic, the staff there couldn't do enough for you and it was nice to have your evening watching the most amazing sunset. BUT.... We paid the extra for a premium bungalow with use of all the above facilities and really enjoyed them for the first 4 days and was really enjoying our holiday and thought that it was value for money. BUT...On the 30th September they closed the premium restaurant without any notification and we were told to eat in the main restaurant with is nothing like a premium class restaurant of what we paid for, it's more like a 2nd class canteen. All in all I was so disappointed and it took the shine of my holiday. I travelled with Jet holidays here for 14 days and they gave me no indication when I booked that that the Premium class restaurant would only be open for a shot time of my holiday. I spoke to the manager who made every excuse under the sun to try and justify it's closer. I also spoke to the reception and all they came up with was 'That they had to close it because of the wind'. Load of tosh. Would I come back here in Sept/Oct..NO....unless they kept all facilities for my complete stay which I paid for. So upset.

Terrible accommodation not the Four Star advertised 2 star at best. Booked a standard room with walk in shower in the Hotel but was put in a scruffy 2 star bungalow with a bath which was not suitable as I am disabled. Hairdryer burnt your hand when using and looked about 30 years old. Air con didn’t work properly, front door looked ready to go in skip, very noisy with music blasting out every day and at one point felt like Club Med. Not the tranquil 4 star I booked, all complaints ignored by manager. The only saving grace was able to escape to the beach every day and the food was suitable for all tastes although it was the same each day with a different theme. I very rarely comment on accommodation but was extremely shocked by the standard of accommodation and staff, the gardener was living in the next bungalow so perhaps we were put in to staff accommodation
