They did generously offer to change my room, but it was a lateral move – from one disaster to a slightly less disastrous one. Dead cockroaches and insects make for the perfect company, giving the hotel that extra "natural habitat" vibe. And don’t get me started on the bathtub—it’s there for show, broken, and a reminder of better days (for the tub, that is). The food? Exquisite, if you enjoy stale chicken and being served breakfast an hour late. Who needs tea on time when you can revel in the anticipation? Oh, and when you order eggs, be patient—they’ll be back in a bit, just after a quick run to the store.
