Hotel situado en una zona carretera próxima a Reikiavik. Habitación sin nada de gracia decorativamente hablando, con muebles de aspecto antiguo. Camas pequeñas con colchón duro pero confortable, se me hace raro el método utilizado para taparse, pero por aquí es lo habitual, sábana edredón. El hotel dispone de tés y cafés de cortesía, y me choca mucho el ventilador de mesa que también está disponible para su uso. La habitación tiene aseo, pequeño y con jabones de cortesía mediante dispensadores, pero lo importante es que tiene aseo propio. Esto en Islandia es todo un lujo. Cabe decir que la mitad de habitaciones dan directamente a una carretera, mi caso, y el ruido de tráfico es constante. Hotel donde está prohibido fumar bajo sanción en caso de incumplimiento, cosa que agradezco pues es agradable entrar en un recinto libre de humos. El desayuno tiene algo de variedad y no es espectacular pero se puede desayunar bien sin ningún problema. Tiene parking gratuito y recepción abierta 24 h. Personal muy amable.

Hotel a 10 min d’auto dalla zona più centrale della capitale. Stanza ampia ma da rinnovare, così come il bagno, peraltro entrambi puliti. Le stanze che danno sulla strada ad alto scorrimento non sono x niente insonorizzate e di notte si sente… Personale gentile. Buona colazione.

Vecchio e non al pari con gli standard degli altri hotel di pari categoria/prezzo in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Islanda. Per raggiungere l'hotel con Google Maps non mettere il nome dell'hotel ma l'indirizzo Hliðasmári 13, altrimenti porta a un indirizzo errato.

Servizio e ospitalità darei 0 ! La receptionist bionda antipatica e per niente cortese ! La camera sporca piccola, senza frigo bar, non cambiano nemmeno gli asciugamani. Siamo stati 3 notti e abbiamo pure pagato la colazione povera con poca scelta e se per caso vuoi portarti via anche solo una brioches devi pagare 30 euro ! L acqua dai rubinetti sulfurea che è nauseante!

We were impressed with the Hotel and the services the staff provided during our stay. We were let down by our Travel agents and needed to make changes to our daily trips from the Hotel. Josipa and Catrina were extremely helpfull in guiding us to resolve issues beyond their control. They went out of their way always with a smile and a helping hand.

Rooms were comfortable and clean. This hotel has more of a minimalist feel, nothing fancy but it offered a great place to relax and sleep. Front desk attendant was helpful with directions of places we wanted to see.

The room is good, the staff is friendly, but the rooms are HOT! Easily 25 degrees. There is no airconditioning and the window could not open, so there was no fresh air. We did hardly sleep and sweat all the time. They have a restaurant, but you cannot eat there unless you prebooked as a group, which I think quite strange and unwelcoming. They have happy hour until 8, but when we arrived at 6, they told us we had to leave soon because a group would come there to have dinner. We felt a little unwelcome. They said, and I quote, "We are not catering to the needs of individuals". I must say, though, that the employee behind the desk gave a lot of effort to help us book a tour and was super nice.

Personal freundlich. Zimmer mit Wasserkocher und Tee. Frühstück ok. Direkt an der Autobahn. Ausreichend Parkplätze. Mall, Apotheke, take aways, Restaurant um die Ecke. Ca 40 Minuten mit dem Auto zum Flughafen. Aber: Es war so UNGLAUBLICH LAUT, der Wahnsinn. Da scheint nix isoliert zu sein. Das muss man abkönnen, dass man neben der Autobahn schläft.

It is a multi level hotel right next to the major route into the capital. Nothing fancy. Small rooms but clean. A small check in desk and a breakfast place at ground level. There was no problem for us to get a parking spot right in front of the hotel. We arrived late on a weekend and worried that most restaurants are closed. Luckily there is an Indian restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel that opens late even during the weekend. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpful. As for price, it was the cheapest in our 7 days tour around iceland.
