Sehr nette Lodge direkt am Fluss. Vor dem Balkon Hippos und Krokodile im Wasser. Netter Poolbereich. Freundliches Personal. Essen war völlig in Ordnung. Pirschfahrt in den nahegelegenen Bwabwata national park. Chalets sehr luxuriös. Sogar einen Sekt in der Minibar. Gerne wieder

Sehr schoene Lodge wo die Bungalows dieses Jahr renoviert worden sind. In den Bungalows sind sehr viele und schoene Details. Die Lodge liegt direkt am Kwandos Fluss wo sehr schoene Bootstouren angeboten werden. Ueberaschung inclusive! Abendsbuffet ist top

Ce lodge est magnifique. Dès l'entrée on est subjugués par la vue sur la rivière et les animaux. Le bar, le restaurant, le parc tout est bien pensé. La décoration des chambres est digne de magazines, superbe, style art déco. La literie est très confortable, les équipements complets, ça sent bon...Mais comme très souvent l'insonorisation des chambres n'est pas optimale (même si elle est mieux pensée que dans d'autres lodge Gondawa) nous avons entendu notre voisin converser au téléphone jusqu'assez tard dans la soirée, c'est vraiment dommage. Le game drive et la sortie bateau auxquels nous avons participé ont été agréables. Les repas sont satisfaisants, dans un cadre charmant.

It would be wrong to complain about a lodge with such friendly staff in a wonderful location but it could be so much better, especially for the high price. The food is pretty poor - stuff out of a bottle and nothing seems to be grown locally (staff should ask Tambuti lodge in Rundu for advice on how to grow salad). It’s not worth what they change. It’s also a shame that the frosted glass walls of the rooms allow in a neon glare from outside lights all night, with no curtains. A small issue but with better care this place could be really special.

Wunderschöne Lage über dem Fluss mit Blick in die Ebene. Wir sahen sogar einige Hippos. Das Zimmer hatte eine Terrasse und war schön und sehr reichlich ausgestattet mit Moskitonetz, Kaffee/Teestation, usw. Die Dusche war sehr kalt oder sehr heiss. Ansonsten funktionierte alles perfekt.

Établissement de la chaîne Gondwana. Accueil et service professionnels. Beaux espaces communs, jardin bien entretenu. Petit bassin pour se rafraîchir (mais pas pour nager). Chambre vaste, bien meublée (fauteuils, table basse…) et bien équipée. Décoration originale et plutôt réussie. Excellente literie. Salle d’eau moderne et impeccable, mais les WC ne sont pas séparés. Agréable terrasse donnant directement sur la rivière Kwando : crocodiles l’après-midi ; hippopotames tôt le matin et en fin de journée ; beaucoup d’oiseaux. Petit déjeuner et dîner sous forme de buffet, très complet, varié et de bonne qualité. Le midi, carte réduite.

A quick one night stop at the 3rd of our 3 Gondwana lodges over 9 days. The view deck at the main lodge was absolutely stunning and needs a whole day. Seemed like lots of activities available. Staff felt more impersonal and not as friendly as the other 2 lodges we stayed at in the group, but we had less interaction with 1 night as apposed to 3/4.. Again a well appointed tent, well laid out with neighbours fairly close but with thick vegetation between units, they were not visible, so you felt very private. We were lucky to have a woodpecker in our garden. Lovely view with super sunset. Woke up to see hippo footprints all around our tent! Need to spend more time here.
