Grand Bahama Beach Hotel

I actually don’t know where to start. The hotel is like Faulty Towers!! The food was absolutely disgusting and made us both ill, we ate 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch & 1 evening meal & then ate out, which for All Inclusive is not what we were expecting to have to do. Lovely restaurants nearby though. The butter had green mould in it, the salad was swimming in water, the evening meal food was a watery slop unless you had chicken drumsticks & rice. Drinks..there was warm beer out of a can, 3 spirits & very sweet soft drinks, all served in the smallest plastic cups. No wine, definitely no cocktails like they advertise on their facebook page!! Couldn’t get a sun lounger as people left their towels on them day & night!! Our room, the bed was comfortable but had dried on stained sheets which didn’t get changed, had to request clean towels. Floor was dirty, full of bits which transferred onto my feet. Shower head fell off as soon as I tried to increase the pressure. Air conditioning unit leaked water out onto the bed. More like a 1 star, definitely not a 3!! Only booked for 5 nights, thankfully but wish I hadn’t gone there at all. Will never go back to Alanya again, which is a shame because the centre of Alanya is beautiful. I’d read the bad reviews but thought..it can’t be that bad, how wrong we were, please don’t waste your money, especially if you’re English. I’m not fussy & have been to 3 star hotels previously but never experienced anything like this.

The holiday which I booked for 2 at the Grand Bahama Beach Hotel Antalya Turkey on 12th to 19th June 2025. Wasn't so much as a holiday but stressful, inconvenient, depressing and A disappointing time. would like to point out that this was supposed to be a all inclusive holiday. On arrival we were charged 10 euros to use the safe in the room, which was very small. You could not get a drink at the bar before 12 oclock, 1200hh, then the bar closed about 1600hh and running out of drink most afternoons and staff informing us that there is no more beer till night time. The bar would reopen again around 1900hh with only 3 drinks available, but would close again a 2200hh until the following day in the afternoon. The food in the canteen was not that good, pretty much the same each day, and some hot foods were served cold. The hotel was dirty, The shower in the room leaked all over the floor, which we had to clean up ourselves. The bedding wasn't changed all week. The towels were also not changed all week. Outside the room in the hallway was an old broken bed with nail exposed, which stayed there for the whole week which was a hazard. An electric box in the hallway was broken and left partley open, this was very dangerous. The entertainment was a disappointment, We was expecting some traditional Turkish entertainment, but none was available. For the first 3 days, all the entertainment was in German for the whole night. When we aproch the staff about any of this they did not seem to care about this. Named beach hotel, a bit deciving you need to leave the hotel walk to end of road , cross carriage way via bridge, walk for another 5 or 6 mins to get to a beach that was not that much, overall about 10 to 15 mins walk away , This was supposed to be a holiday, something to look forward to, but instead it caused anxiety and was very depressing, stressful and nothing but disappointing. I can honestly say that by the time the holiday was over we were glad to be coming home. I would never use this hotel again its disgusting,

Staff extremely rude. Plug sockets hanging off the walls, big holes in walls with lights hanging off, ceiling light hanging down ready to fall off. Food always the same no changes same day in day out.
