I don't even want to give one star. Please do not stay here. The place is not what it seems to be - Tripadvisor's rating is NOT accurate and completely misleading. And after approaching the property they did not want to consider a refund. If you stay here it is on you. Reasons: The place is extremely dirty. The coffee machine had left over coffee in the filter that had mould on it. The coffee stations in the rooms were last cleaned ages ago. It is not equipped as a guest house, it has a shared bathroom, meaning you share with other people staying in the house full time. So is also the kitchen shared by everybody in the house. The room smelled of cigarette smoke - all of the linen and curtains smell like this.

The stay was great, host was amazing. View from the balcony was spectacular, could sit there all day. Breakfast was good too

cold water so did not shower. lights by the bed were not working in the one room. and the other room only 1 bed side lamp worked. carpet in the lounge stank. pool was green. just totally disapointing.

It was a wonderful house, awesome stay. Very peaceful with a stunning view. I just wish it was put in the description that someone lives inside the house as well. One doesn't really have privacy/freedom. In the description it should also be included if renting 3/4 rooms I'm the house. The 4th room will also be rented out to others. Should consider rather getting an outside space for the person who looks after the house daily. Then guests would have more privacy.

happy homes is in a monitored community with a lovely outlook to the cape west coast. It is very reasonably priced for the cape. Also the lady who greets and services is amazing - very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Basically a perfect place for a short stay on the cape

Definitely home away from home! Everything wa perfectly set up. Candice made our stay extra special with her warm smile & hospitality. The location is perfect for a little "peace and serenity ". The views and peacefulness is just what we needed. We will definitely be back!
