I splurged and made a reservation for the crab dishes. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, an attendant came and guided me. It seems to be a long-established restaurant, but it has been renovated and does not feel old. It was my first time here, but it is a decent hot spring town. Due to the location, there is no spectacular view. The room has an open-air bath, but as mentioned above, the view is disappointing due to the location. However, this bathtub is fed by the source spring, so the water is of excellent quality. On the other hand, the large public bath seems to be a combined bath and circulation bath, and the quality of the spring was not so good compared to the open-air bath in the room. The specialty of the food is crab dishes, and although it was smaller than I expected, it was very delicious. (Definitely the best I have ever had) It was my first time to try grilled crab, but the moisture in both the crab meat and the miso evaporates, which enhances the flavor. The steamed crab meat is more delicious than the boiled crab I have eaten before, but I think the miso is definitely more delicious with grilled crab. It was my first time to try sashimi, and I felt it was delicious because of its value. Other than crab, seafood dishes were also served. The sashimi was delicious, but the other dishes were small in quantity, so I guess you won't feel full unless you eat them as snacks with alcohol. The pickles served with the rice at the end were also disappointing in quality and quantity. There were few dishes that went well with rice at breakfast, and while the crab was satisfactory, the other dishes were more disappointing. The room was satisfactory, with a sense of hospitality in every detail. The woman who looked after us was relatively elderly, and we liked her for her wealth of knowledge and strong service spirit, even if she was a little too nosy. Overall, it was a very comfortable inn, although I did feel that it was a little expensive considering the price.

The waitress' awkwardness was refreshing, but she was a hard worker. We had crab kaiseki cuisine, and she was kind enough to show us the live crab before serving it.

Definitely the worst accommodation ever. The photos only show the beautiful parts, and when you actually see the photos, there is no sense of cleanliness. I stayed in a good room with an open-air bath, but the view was the worst because I could only see the surrounding dilapidated buildings, and it felt like there was a bathtub on the veranda that hadn't been maintained. Even though there are many unnecessarily many parlors, there are many people who are rough anyway and I don't feel the slightest bit of hospitality. It's bad even though it's called a restaurant kaiseki. On top of that, it was all cold and nothing left a lasting impression. The public bath is full of bubbles and there is no sense of cleanliness here either. The dressing room is also filthy... Is this what you mean by throwing money down the drain? Will never go again.
