We had been here for seven days and had an amazing time in the Selini Suites hotel. We arrived at night, so it was too late for any meal, but the hotel staff left us sandwiches and water in the fridge. That's a really nice gesture. Food was delicious every single time. We had a lot of options, so even my fussy eaters had nice meals. They had great coffee and pastries. I really enjoyed that! We were at the end of October, so the water in the swimming pool was a bit cold, but we swam in the afternoons. We loved the swimming pool at the back, the one with a jacuzzi. The waterpark was great fun. Kids loved it! Our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. It is a nice, short walk to the beach and shops. The bus stop is opposite the hotel. We get one to visit Chania. You can buy tickets on the bus. There is a salesperson there. You can use cash or a debit card. The trip took us about 45 minutes, and the bus stopped in the city centre. They are every 20 minutes from the hotel (f.e, at 10, 10:20, 10:40). The biggest appreciation is for all staff working in that hotel. Starting with the very nice lady who cleaned our room, receptionists and waitresses, to bartenders and all the kitchen staff. You are great guys, and your hard work and friendliness make our holiday very special. Thank you!

We stayed at Selini Suites and Waterpark in Crete and were very pleased with our experience. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff welcomed us warmly right from the start. The food was excellent, well-prepared, and fresh – with a balanced selection that felt more thoughtful compared to the overabundance you sometimes find at other hotels. There was something for everyone, including fresh fruit, all served in a way that felt stylish and well-balanced. The service staff was quick, attentive, and always friendly – clearing tables right away and making us feel truly taken care of. Our room felt new, fresh, and clean, with everything we needed. Free Wi-Fi was available and worked well, even for those who needed to get some work done during the stay. The hotel’s waterpark was a highlight, fun for children but also for us 50+ guys who wanted to play around a bit – great fun and well maintained! Overall, this hotel delivered on every level – we can highly recommend Selini Suites and Waterpark and would be happy to return!

Hello, unfortunately they have terrible Wi-Fi. It does not work at all. Even the outdoor music stops playing because of this. Other than that, okey place

We stayed here for 10 days in a junior suite with a private pool. The welcome was friendly, although it felt a little strange that we had to hand over our passports. In other hotels in Crete we’ve simply filled in the forms ourselves at the reception desk. I don’t feel entirely comfortable leaving my passport behind. We received an information sheet with the Wi-Fi code and some house rules. It would have been nice if they had also mentioned that there is no housekeeping service on Sundays – we only discovered this afterwards. The room itself was very clean, with a good fridge, nice TV, and functional, atmospheric lighting. Unfortunately, nothing was waiting for us in the fridge, while in other hotels we’ve usually found a small welcome gift such as a bottle of wine, water, or fruit. Plenty of storage space, but very few hangers. The kettle was oddly placed where there was no power outlet, and there was no instant coffee or tea provided. The terrace was equipped with a comfortable sunbed, table, and chairs. However, there was no drying rack, and the pool lighting did not work. Although it was eventually fixed, it took two days instead of one due to a simple oversight. Our bathroom window didn't open due to a defect which left the floor constantly wet, already causing visible damage to the door. Because of this, we needed fresh towels every day – another reason why the lack of Sunday cleaning was inconvenient. That said, the rooms were always kept spotless, and the private pool was cleaned daily in the early morning hours from the outside. The Wi-Fi was very poor. The signal was strong, but the internet connection itself was almost unusable. Of course, a holiday is meant for relaxing, but waiting minutes for every page to load, being unable to play a Spotify playlist, or even quickly looking up information about the next day’s plans is frustrating. Mobile reception was also very weak, so 5G wasn’t a solution either. One small drawback of the private pools: they are located above sunbeds, so even the smallest movement in the pool causes water to spill over, sometimes splashing on guests below. This actually led to an unpleasant encounter with another guest. The private pools are also noticeably colder than the main pool, but still a wonderful place to relax with a beautiful view of the greenery and the main pool area. Plenty of privacy as well – a real highlight. The beach is clean and pleasant, covered with small round pebbles rather than sharp stones. The waterpark bar is only a five-minute walk away, which is convenient, although there were no hotel-provided trash bins on the beach, which was a pity. Speaking of waste: the hotel still uses disposable plastic cups everywhere. This creates a huge amount of unnecessary garbage, and in other Cretan hotels we’ve seen much better solutions with reusable cups. It would also be a nicer experience for guests. As for drinks, this was a weak point. I usually enjoy almost any type of cola, but here th

Facilities and food ok! Door of room stiff and didn’t just shut without a nudge, “junior suite” with pool if kids jumped in, got shouted at by those sun bathing below! Manager rude unhelpful and actually I asked her to stop speaking to me as she was ruining my day! It’s a shame get rid of the bad atmosphere and it could be a nice place! To mention we only had driving licences at check in but forced to drive 2 hour round trip to go and collect passports including wanting to documents the under 18, wonders if gdpr is actually a thing how are they storing handling my data! (Previously given a passport per booking in Crete and having visited the island 12 plus times weird that suddenly we needed kids) anyway zero reminder on the whole passport thing via booking so we had to go back to our villa collect the passports and come back! Which kinda ruined the planed day but had we not been met with the narcissistic manager the hotel may of got a slightly better review…waits with baited breath for the comments from this woman who has zero empathy or ability to solve problems help etc! Had we got our money back we would have cancelled. However I quote “hahaha I would never give refund when you forgot your passports”

I think this hotel offers incredible value - I really was delighted to have stayed there. This is the first time I have booked all-inclusive and the experience has far surpassed my expectations. I was lucky enough to have a room in the main block on the first floor, facing the road but that meant my room had the sun all day. The balcony was large with a table and two chairs along with a rack for drying clothes. My only quibble with the room was that there was no light over the desk. My room was of a good size with two single beds pushed together, but unfortunately only one chair. There was a good amount of hanging space for clothes, but no drawers. There never is enough coat –hangers. A flat screen TV with Netflix and YouTube hung on the wall over a desk. There was a normal domestic size refrigerator. On top of the refrigerator there was a kettle and two mugs and glasses. WiFi was available throughout the hotel with no restrictions. All the staff from reception to restaurant to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. A sand and shingle beach is five minutes’ walk away if you don't fancy using the hotel pool, which is not particularly big. Another alternative for water sports is to use the associated water park that is close to the beach. I think it caters for ages up to teenage. There are bus stops right outside the hotel with a bus frequency of about 20 minutes. It took me about twenty minutes to walk into Kolumbari, the main village with shops, supermarkets and restaurants. However, with all-inclusive there is no real need. Food is hot and not lukewarm with a great selection and a changing menu each day. The only trouble with such choice is that it is easy to eat too much! All-inclusive meant I could have soft drinks or coffee whenever I wanted with beer or wine available at lunch or dinner. The bar offered takeaway, if you didn't fancy drinking in the bar area. I cannot praise this hotel too highly.
