Tui Blue Kalamota Island

Very nice hotel, it was just near the sea so very convenient. Attention to access the island you need to not miss the ferry as there is not that much and you might need to wait a lot for next one.

This is a wonderfully relaxed hotel . The central facilities ( restaurant , lounge, bar, entertainment area ) are on two levels and nestle into the bay whilst the bedroom accommodation is in groups of villas that blend well into the surrounding houses, that face into the beautiful horseshoe bay. The all inclusive arrangement where meal times are well spread out means the restaurant is never too busy . An excellent place for a relaxed holiday

I cannot count how many times we were the guests at Kalamota island and Villas Kolocep! Since I was child I love the island and had been there many time. We were there in Ville Kolocep before the war after the war, before TUI had been there ( I think last years with TUI Sensimar and TUI Blue we were 4-5 times, cannot remember ). Review of our last few visits: For us everything is excellent! We love the piece, the crickets, the plants, the rooms, food ( you can always find something you love - in spite what some guests wrote! ), the staff - all in all we love being there! Anyway, God willing we will come back again!

For a TUI Blue hotel we are a little disappointed in a few things. No Frappe- staff do not know how to make frappe coffee (iced coffee) We had to walk to the cafe and spend 10€ to get one. When we asked they said machine is broken at pool bar and upstairs the girl didn’t know how to do them. But we did see staff making themselves one after saying they couldn’t make us one. The whirlpool didn’t work the whole time we were there. Sunbeds - There were early morning reserving off sun beds and it was nice a staff member removing towels for doing this. Our first day we didn’t get a sun bed at all for this selfish behaviour. Read your emails- I emailed hotel to request some extra pillows but heard nothing back and didn’t get the request. This hotel has allot off steps, anyone with mobility issues may struggle. Rooms- Our room is clean, our maid attends every day and refreshes. The room has everything you need but it’s a shame they don’t allow you to be able to turn the TV up any higher than 10. Food- Personally we found the food was really good just a little too salty at times, lot’s of fish, mixed veggies, nice bread. Overall good variety and something for everyone. A la cart restaurant was disappointing, better food at hotel. Overall it’s a lovely location, we feel anymore than a week would be too long. It’s the little things like iced coffee, flat fizzy brinks, no ice cream at pool bar that spoiled it.

Hotel and location fantastic, All TUI staff throughout very helpful and friendly. Food lovely with many choices, all inclusive drinks perfectly fine, elements cocktail bar lovely to sit at night, entertainment good to hear some live music, Room cleaned every day, depending on which room you pay for depends on view you will have you will hardly be in the room anyway air conditioning superb. Went to Culinarium restaurant which is included once on your holiday very nice sorry about spelling special mention to Hyristian at Culinariam and to JT at the hotel great reps for TUI Blue going on Marella cruise for first time 2025 but will be back to Kalamota island 2026 all things well.

This is advertised as a 4 star hotel but it’s definitely a 3 star •Hidden Costs -If you want to use the Bali beds it’s was €25 with a free bottle of Prosecco which neither of us like. -There is a hidden hideaway called the treehouse and you can rent that for €150 from 7-10pm. •Stairs -This hotel has no lift and there are multiple flights to the rooms. For us we climbed 6 flights of stairs on the walk to our room from reception. -Mostly uneven paving, would not recommend to the elderly. •Food -Poor choice The buffet has approx 12 hot options which include meat, potato option and veg. Not much chicken. Lots of fish. -Vegan option They advertise vegan options, however they only have 2. We stayed for a week and only 2 options during the duration. -Replenishment You’ll be very lucky to see beans in the morning. We used to get to breakfast for around 8. Granted an hour after breakfast has started but by that time you would expect them to bring out another tray. We had no beans the whole holiday. Ps. no hash browns only croquettes in the morning. -Baggage on arrival Once arriving at the island we were told to leave our bags on the boat for the bellboys to bring to our room. The hotel from the drop off is a good 5-7 min walk + the steps from the reception. However it took them nearly 2 hrs to bring the bags up. I rang the receptionist twice asking where they were as we had already been traveling for 6 hours and couldn’t start our holiday. Tips - Ask for a pool view room, you won’t be close to the pool but you will have a view of the harbour. Other option is the trees against a mountain. - Put towels down then go for breakfast. It’s worth waiting the extra 10 mins to get a good sun-bed. -You cannot smoke by the sun-beds but only a 2 minute walk to upstairs smoking area or can walk to the beach which is 10 steps away from the pool. -Watch out for the wasps around drinks. The island is beautiful and the locals are nice. Besides the above, the hotel was nice. I would definitely recommend the jams from the local stall, all made and ran by a lovely family on the island.

My first travel on an all inclusive package trip since the pandemic. A truly beautiful spot just a short distance scenic boat trip from the mainland. Reminiscent of the Greek islands but with more greenery. Not a car in sight. Hotel staff were very accommodating and attentive and daily buffet offered good variety. TUI representatives were available and helpful throughout.

Always nice to visit 4Elements after a hot day by the pool or beach with a lovely view watching the sun set across the bay. Choose from a good selection of cocktails expertly mixed by the lovely Mirjana who exemplifies “service with a smile” and makes a great Mojito!
