We were a group of runners from Trivandrum participating in the Kollam half marathon. We arrived at 6 pm and stayed overnight. The dinner at the restaurant was very well made and tasty -the dal tadka and Aloo Gobi had authentic flavours. The chicken roast was perfectly cooked without too much spice. Since we had to leave the hotel by 4:30 am for a 5 am start of our run, the hotel manager offered to arrange light breakfast at 4 am. It was a great gesture and they made veg sandwich, boiled banana, boiled eggs, toast , jam, butter, watermelon juice and tea. Our runners enjoyed the same . The rooms were very clean and well appointed . The AC was good . All in all a very satisfying experience for an overnight stay. The hotel also had a factory outlet of VLC cashew - one of the best known cashew factories in the state. I would recommend the Nani for anyone visiting Kollam
