Takaraya Ryokan

The owner is very kind. I couldn't go to the accommodation because my car was slipping on the snow, but he called me and came to call a snow chain company. I wanted to eat dinner, but I couldn't because I made a mistake and didn't make a reservation ㅠㅠ (Even then, the owner took me to the supermarket, so I barely managed to eat. The owner is the best!!). If you want to use the hot springs nearby, you can give the owner a coin for 150 yen (it's 400 yen if you go and buy it). The public hot springs are free, but men and women can enter separately on odd and even days. The surrounding scenery is also nice, so it's good for taking pictures.

The hotel is good value for money. When I went out for a walk at night, there was steam everywhere. Parking nearby is really inconvenient. Also, there are no restaurants nearby. It is very difficult to get a meal without making a reservation.

This is about a 20-minute drive from Kurokawa Onsen. The best thing about this nostalgic inn is that it is very clean and tidy, and the meals prepared are also very attentive. Although the language is different, you can feel the owner's attentiveness by using simple Japanese. The preparation, as well as the kindness and friendliness towards the ********* people, also left deep memories during this trip🥰

I wanted to stay at an old traditional ryokan, and this is the best ryokan. The kindness of the owner, the delicious kaiseki meal, the smooth and soft hot spring water, and the quiet hot spring village were all great. I rented a car from Hakata Station in Fukuoka, but had to drive a long distance, so I took off one star because of the location. I want to go again if it’s close~~ And the ryokan gives you a medal that you can use when using the outside hot springs, and it costs 150 yen per person. If you want to go to several outside hot springs, get a medal from the ryokan. If you want to go to the outside hot springs (Utase Onsen) personally, it costs 400 yen per person.

In order to climb the mountain and stay in Sujiyu Hot Spring, the whole hot spring town was a little deserted. Takalaya Hotel is an old-fashioned hot spring hotel, old but clean and tidy. The breakfast and dinner are very delicious, and the public bath is comfortable. The only drawback is that there is no toilet in the room, but the shared toilet is very clean. The hotel does not have a parking lot, and guests who drive must park in the public parking lot. There is a famous "UTASE large bath" next to the hotel, and there are 3 free public baths nearby. The boss is a nice person and tries his best to explain and introduce various facilities and meals through a translator. Overall, the hotel is worth recommending.
