Koh Tao Montra Resort

Excellent location, a great pool, and good rooms. The staff are very friendly, although communication can sometimes be unclear, so it's worth double-checking details with them. Other than that, they are very nice.

The Montra Resort is a treasure with beautiful rooms a pool with a swim up bar and open restaurant for breakfast overlooking the beach. The staff has been very friendly and super helpful in every way. I hope to be back soon!

The room was very neat and very spacious for 2 including a good broad balcony. The staffs were friendly and helped us book our snorkeling tours along with our return ticket from koh tao to surat thani airport. Also they have free shuttle to and from the pier which is very helpful. They have a good breakfast buffet as well 😋

The resort was in a fabulous location! Close to all the shops and restaurants without being in the thick of things! Lovely restaurant with really excellent food for lunch and dinner. You can even dine on the beach if the tide is out, which was so beautiful during sunset! Breakfast was simple but the eggs were fresh and there was always good coffee, yummy bread and fruit.  The service was amazing. Our a/c went out one day and the staff fixed it within a half hour. Everything was clean and the pool was nice. Scooter rentals right at the hotel if you’re brave enough. 😉

We had a lovely stay in the resort where all staffs were attentive and affectionate. Strongly recommend great value for money.

Good hotel, but not quite 4*, the rooms are not at this level, very damp! Breakfast is good, as well as the restaurant (a bit pricier though)! Nice swimming pool!

Nice hotel in Mae Haad Village close to many of the local dive shops. It is a good value option, with a pool, gym, breakfast buffet and even an in-house massage and dive centre. However, I must note the leaky shower that remained not fixed despite me bringing it up to reception every day during our stay. The water pressure was not strong at all. Another point is the room Wi-Fi which remained not functional for our entire stay. When asking staff about this, they said they were unable to guarantee Wi-Fi connection in the rooms, but public areas are fine. This must be fixed ASAP, as for many tourists relying on roaming data, this is essential.

Fantastic hotel. Was upgraded FOC on arrival. Stayed an extra night as it was so good. Dive centre great.

A very pleasant hotel, was a holiday on holiday kind of feel. Staff were excellent. Location fab. Negative - a very dangerous, unusable treadmill was still allowed to be used by guests in the gym. Belt needs to be tensioned or replaced. Should have been decommissioned.
