The Amara... I don't understand many of the negative reviews here. A small resort that can be described as clean, with friendly service and a commitment to guests. The reception closes after the last ferry arrives. The units/bungalows are suitable for singles and groups of people. There are connecting doors: both the living room and the balcony on the rooftop. There's a pool. Well-maintained and clean. Breakfast from 8:00 a.m.: a buffet with a fresh omelet (tomato, onion, mushrooms, cheese, etc.) and a good selection (salad, fruit, ham, French toast, etc.). The other food there is rather restrained in terms of spices. It tastes good, but lacks that "kick." Noise pollution? Koh Pha-ngan is a party island. The mountain on the island's side could explode. You can still sleep, though. Overall, a highly recommended setup.

Worst hospitality, very dirty… its not a resort just an average house . Bath towels were soo dirty white color was yellowish. Pool towels not cleaned dirty ones wrapped and serviced every day. Even i saw Used preservatives in the garden theblast day. We were shocked

Loved this hotel on the beach. We had a nice 1st floor room ( better option) with massive balcony. However, this time of year the beach was full of sandbags due to the high tides. Big 7/11 very near. Afternoon seats and bags on beach, morning high tide. Some nice restaurants walking along the beach. Hotel restaurant nice place to sit in afternoon, happy hour starts at 4 with sunset. Nice breakfast although runs out quickly after 9. Cocktails nice for a change. Comfortably bed, nice mattress, rooms good size and plenty of hot water. Reception very friendly. The better beach we found is a short walk away at Haad Salad, smaller and quieter, we would stay there next time.

Отель выбрали из-за расположения, т.к. хотелось остаться на этом пляже и поближе к центру. Соотношение цена/качество - отличное! Номер просторный и светлый (большое количество окон). Кровать большая и очень удобная. Сон был комфортным. В части номеров размер сейфа позволяет разместить в нем ноутбук, что очень удобно. Приятно удивил завтрак, который оказался включен в стоимость. Вообще на него не рассчитывали при заселении, но с удовольствием ходили каждое утро. Емкости с едой были полупустые, т.к. гостей в отеле было мало, но по необходимости еду пополняли. Еда как обычной трёшке: яйца в разных вариациях, рис, бекон, сосиски, хешбраун, фрукты, овощи, выпечка и т.п. Ресторан при отеле находится прям на берегу, поэтому было вдвойне приятно утром выпить кофе под шум волн. На территории отеля есть собака, она очень милая и дружелюбная. Если подкормите ее разок, то она будет спать у вашего порога и охранять ваш сон) Здорово, что местные сотрудники ее подкармливают и не прогоняют. Персонал весь приветливый и доброжелательный, особенно европеец - управляющий, который старался везде оказать должный сервис. В общем, у нас остались только положительные впечатления от времени проведенном здесь

We had a pleasant stay here and the weather was good to us. The location is lovely right on the beach. The sea slightly too warm for me and the was reflected in algae in the water in some places but this is a shallow reef so to be expected. There is no staff on hand at night which shouldn’t be a problem but we did have issues with a bunch of people partying until 3:30 am with no one to police it. The restaurant staff were lovely but not as attentive as we would have liked. Despite these minor issues I would recommend this property if you are looking at staying in this area of the island.

Hands off!!! Our rooms were cancelled weeks after we booked because of alleged overbooking. Messages saying that rooms were still available to book were ignored for days. Simply terrible... Now we as a family can look for a new resort shortly before our trip.
