Chilled Out
Sand in my Shoes was a very relaxed, chilled-out place to stay.
It was very peaceful and the location is perfect- you literally roll out of bed right on to the beach. I watched many sunrises sitting on a sun lounger followed by a delicious coffee made by the super-attentive and friendly staff there.
The large deck cafe area is great for hanging out any time of the day and the food is delicious…. especially breakfast.
Comfy beds and very quiet at night.

We loved our stay at Sand in My Shoes! Tae and his team were simply excellent and the loveliest people you could wish to meet. Our room was large and the view out to the beach was a superb way to wake up each morning. Breakfast was substantial and there was a good choice so that you didn't have to have the same thing each day. You simply fill in a form, send it to the kitchen and your choice comes to you within 10-15 minutes. We also loved walking to the small road behind the resort each night for our meal and massage - such bliss! If you are looking for a relaxing hotel located on a beautiful, quiet and family focused beach, then I would definitely recommend Sand in My Shoes. Tae and team - thank you for a terrific stay. Hopefully we'll meet again.

We loved it here. If you're looking for slick - identi-kit hotel experience,then it's not the place for you. If you're looking for a boutique experience with a bohemian flavour with the best beach-side spot then you can't get better. Rooms are compact but have a stylish flavour, the food in the restaurant was also the best we had in the whole of Nai Pan Noi. Service was great throughout our stay, Reception and waiting staff always ready with a smile. Things can slow down at busy times but nothing hey you're on holiday. The pool area although relatively small was also divine twinkling with lanterns and fringed by jungle-like planting. Would definitely return.

We fell in love with this boutiquey accommodation right on the beach. It was exactly what we wanted. It sits lightly on the beautiful beach; quiet, with gorgeous boho style - the prettiest on the beach. The room we had was compact but well thought out and decorated with flair. We loved opening our door right out onto the modest but beautiful pool area. The food here is also the best we found whilst in Thong Nai Pan Noi. We ended up eating here more than we expected. We tried various other places (including the Buri Rasa up the beach, which we voted as our worst meal) and nothing lived up to the freshness or the skill coming out of the kitchen here. And you really do have sand in your shoes (if you decide to wear them). We are still talking about our time here, the lovely staff and the proximity to nature; waves, moonlight etc. We would definitely go back and given we've now travelled to Thailand several times over the years - that is a recommendation in itself.

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful, well designed and decorated. Lots of lovely touches and very spacious. The pool is like a tropical paradise. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very relaxed and right on a stunning beach.

Just had the pleasure of spending a few glorious days at Sand in my Shoes beach loft on Koh Phangan island. This stylish little 8 room hotel on the beach is incredibly special..it has a wonderful intimate, homely feel with fantastic service and delicious food..staff are amazing & bring a very relaxed vibe. Highly recommend a stay here!

Very bad experience, most of the dishes missing in high season. dirty kitchens, dishes delivered really not good. It was recommended to me, very disappointing. It is better to look for another restaurant nearby. Avoid without hesitation

There are several elegant resorts on this beach, as well as simple cabin options. This hotel is an intermediate. It is no longer cheap like the rest of Thailand (clearly the islands are more expensive) and it is also on a quiet beach, more for families and couples seeking more “refined” or expensive tourism. Therefore, this hotel is an excellent option. It has the appearance of a simple hotel, with wood, simple tables and chairs in the Restoran and well-made decoration with simple and rustic objects. We had the best room in the place, with a terrace overlooking the beach and the view was amazing. Large, clean room, good bathroom. Terrace with lounge chairs and shower. I felt in paradise
