The room was fine - the food was appalling. Even the Thai cuisine, One night I went for a change - mac and cheese. The noodles were mixed with canned red pasta sauce, and two slices of processed cheese slices were carefully placed on top. Seriously.

Ich bewerte nur selten, aber so etwas kann man einfach nicht unkommentiert lassen. Wir hatten den Beach Bungalow gebucht und ein zusätzliches Zustellbett inkl. Frühstück. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Bungalow ein elektrisches Problem in der Dusche hat und wir auf ein anderes Hotel umgebucht werden. ??? Man wollte uns loswerden. Wir sollten den Bungalow , den wir über Booking gebucht hatten stornieren. Auf Nachfrage ob denn kein anderes Zimmer frei wäre gab man uns einen Pool Bungalow den wir dann direkt am Hotel buchen sollten. Tja, am gleichen Abend waren dann in unserem Beach Bungalow dann andere Gäste??? Problem scheinbar schnell gelöst. Auf Nachfrage dann ein weitere Ausrede. …Kollege hat falsche gebucht und blablabla. Geht gar nicht. Zudem ist das Hotel sowas von in die Jahre gekommen, die Bilder stimmen einfach nicht mit der Realität überein. Wir haben dann nach 2 Tagen das Hotel gewechselt und mussten auch noch 50% Strafe zahlen. Doch es hat sich gelohnt. Mein Tip: „Finger weg!!“

The worst "hotel" in Koh Phangan. In my 5 months of travelling Thailand I never experienced such a horrible hotel. I usually never write reviews but this experience as a young solo female traveler completely shook me. The staff and owners are unprofessional and rude. The rooms are dirty, crawling with bugs, cockroaches, spiders, and even larger-sized lizards' appeared under my bed. It is completely run-down and looks different from the pictures. My door lock was broken and when I went to complain at the desk a young girl who looked about 12 years old started screaming at me telling me I was the problem. Simultaneously, another couple was also looking for a refund at the same time, an absolute mess. Never expected this as Koh Phangan is not the island where this would usually happen. Warning you all to stay away. They ask for money upfront, so if you have a problem, there is no way to get a refund unless you complain to the credit card company. Loads of beautiful accommodations around with lovely Thai owners, avoid at all costs and stay away from these broken negative people :(

We have returned this year to a bungalow at this resort and found it very tired and shabby. The beds were very comfortable but there were holes in the sheets and the shower curtain was hanging down in the middle. Having stayed in eight different places over the past two months, we can honestly say that this was the worst. It badly needs a refurbishment. The tiles and grid round the pool were cracked and broken . They don’t provide tea and coffee in the rooms but provided a kettle with a broken lid on request. On the good side, the staff and reception were lovely and the gardens kept very well. We will not be returning.

The resort is in a perfect state. Despite of what other reviews say. Yes the shower curtain is not so nice. But the houses are large and the beds are comfy. The staff was super friendly and the food just good. Did not like the styling of the restaurant so for most of the time we went to Salad Hut for dinner. The seats on the balcony are on some houses horrible to sit on. The fridge was outside which I liked as you did not have the sound inside. The curtains did not hold any sun so bring a mask for sleeping late. The beach is lovely and the massage at the resort good and cheap.
