This hotel is actually a bungalow settlement that was built on a slope in a semicircle around a (newly renovated) pool. The slightly more expensive family bungalows are very nice and tastefully furnished by Thai standards. The smaller superior bungalows are a little less comfortable, but have a nice covered terrace. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly. A small downside: As in many Thai accommodations, there is no wardrobe and you live out of a suitcase, so to speak. The staff (most of whom are from Myanmar) are without exception extremely friendly and helpful. Their English skills are sufficient and they are the main reason for the 5 stars in the reviews. The breakfast is very good and not boring even after 4 weeks. The food in the restaurant is inexpensive, family-friendly and I would describe it as above average in terms of taste. Right next to it is the pool bar, which is always busy and entertains guests with pleasant music, mostly evergreens. The smoothies and cocktails are excellent and inexpensive. The walk to the beach is no longer than 3 minutes if you walk very slowly. The beach itself is extremely family-friendly, as is the beautiful pool, and this is precisely why this hotel is very popular with families with small children. The facilities include a play area in the restaurant, a baby area in the pool, and a playground. Young couples who come to the island to party will probably not feel very comfortable here. The staff look after guests, both big and small, very lovingly. There are personal words for each guest every day. It is difficult to single out anyone: But we will remember Tom, Serena, Titi, Aung, and Tik. There is fresh water in the fridge every day and the towels are changed regularly. There is a hammock on the large terrace in front of the room, and there are also armchairs. It is always a pleasure to come back here.
