The hotel looked much better in the photos. Our windows overlooked the pool and the courtyard - it was quiet to sleep. But all the furniture is quite old. The bed creaks terribly with every movement. There was no hot water in the shower - we were told to drain it and wait, but it did not help. It was not ice-cold, but cool. Of course, it will do in the heat, but still. There was soap, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom.
Our room was not cleaned for three nights, towels were not changed. In general, it is difficult to meet someone at the reception early in the morning or in the evening. They speak poor English.
There are places to eat nearby, but there are not that many establishments. There is nothing to do there without a bike - we rented one nearby and rode around the island.
It is close to the beach, but there are boats and a pier (which is expected - this is a fishing village). We swam there only once. You can walk along the shore to Malibu beach, which everyone praises so much, but we were not very impressed. The area is quiet.
The hotel does not offer breakfast.

Very good hotel and beach.
The rooms are spacious, with panoramic sliding windows, and those where they look at the sea are just a fairy tale. Lying in bed, you look at the sea from the horizon to the water's edge 15 meters from the window. It's amazing! So much so that they didn't even fill the jacuzzi with a view of this beauty.
The hotel staff are friendly, they help with solving problems (they brought a bike for rent, took us to the pier, and in general were unobtrusive and friendly nearby). Keep in mind that this is not a 5-star Hilton, but just a local family that made the hotel and runs it, doing it sincerely, and in a good sense, with simplicity.
Swimming and looking at neighboring hotels, we were convinced that the choice was right!
In June, even at low tide, the depth of the water near the hotel is excellent. There is a pier nearby, but it does not interfere with swimming at all (it may interfere a little in the evening, when locals come there to fish right from the pier, but not much). We took a bike, rode around the area - this beach turned out to be the best in our opinion (even the Malibu beach 200 meters away with sand barely a lighter shade, turned out to be a squelching desert in terms of depth during low tide), and here both the depth and the view are fire. The water is warm and clean, without waves - a real pleasure. There was no rain, the sun (not like in Phuket at this time of year).
There are no sun loungers on the beach, this is also worth keeping in mind, this is wild beauty, not party tourism :)
In general, I do not see any reason not to go here (or not to return at night). The best recommendations (especially with a room facing the sea) ;)

The location is great. Lots of things nearby.
On Sundays there is a night market. The beach is great. The water is clear, the sand is clean, there is a place to wash your feet after the sea.

The hotel is nice, but with ants. For the money it's ok, the beach nearby is good. The staff is friendly and they will rent you a bike and take you to the pier. The location is convenient, everything is nearby, but we didn't go to the cafe there, we went to the pier.

I stayed at this hotel May 13-30, 2025. The location is great, shops, a variety of restaurants, massage parlors, laundry - all this is nearby. On Sundays there is a market where you can eat and buy souvenirs. It is great that the beach near the hotel is deep. Even when the water seems to have gone away, you can still swim. An incredibly nice family runs the hotel, there is a car, they will help organize a transfer and buy tickets for the ferry. My room was budget, with access to the road, but this did not prevent me from sleeping, it was quite quiet. Everything you need for living is available. Snow-white linen and towels. It would be great to do cosmetic repairs and replace the slightly noisy air conditioner. p.s. I looked for sockets for a long time =) they are under the bedside tables.
