Stayed back in March, pleasant location with beach right next to the rooms. Location is hard to get to however and necessity for bike hire around this area is clear- then you're all good! Bike hire affordable which is great. Rooms get very hot and slightly cramped for two but can't fault with great price.

The Blue Lotus Resort was a great get away ! Not for everyone as very basic but cheap accommodation. The very short walk to the magnificent beach made it and look forward to going there again one day. We didn’t have a scooter but it is essential for getting around there which they do hire out ! Good times !

The bungalows are very simply designed, but perfectly adequate for the price. While they're right on the beach, it's not really suitable for swimming. It's also somewhat isolated, so you'll need a scooter, which you can rent from the accommodation for 200 THB per day. The owners are very friendly, and you get free coffee in the morning, which tastes even better with the sea view. So far, 5 stars, especially for the value for money. A major drawback, however, is the lack of mosquito nets in the bathroom. We quickly got used to the many harmless millipedes. However, when we moved in, there was already feces on the sink, which the landlady must have seen upon entering but didn't say anything about. After two days, we discovered where it came from: Two tokay geckos, each about 30 cm long, lived behind our closet, and they kept crawling out. All of them were non-toxic and therefore not a big deal, but still shocking and disgusting at first.
