The Joy Beach Villas

We stayed at Joy Beach Villas and we absolutely LOVED it. We were so sad to leave that we are even considering going back super soon and stay there for a much longer period of time! The location is perfect. The villas are everything one would be looking for. The management fantastic and the sunset priceless! A total must!

We had a deluxe villa (bungalow) with sea view and separate living room. Everything went very smoothly: From the booking, to the check in and also the check out. The staff are very friendly and always greet you. The resort is suitable for families, but it can also be very noisy when the resort is full of families (from 7 / 8 am). We were very happy with our bungalow, we had two air conditioning units, it was very bright and the bedroom is spacious. There is enough space in the living room for one or two children. We also saw the other bungalows of friends. They were a bit dark for my taste. Towels are changed every 3 days and there are enough towels. The room is also cleaned daily according to local standards. It was said that there is also a big cleaning once (I understand this to mean mopping the floor and picking up damp), but this never happened, so I mopped the floor myself every day. This may be due to my Swiss background, but I think that for the price and a 10-day stay, it could have been cleaned properly once. But that's complaining on a high level, because apart from my daily mopping (you carry a lot of sand home) everything was clean. I can recommend the Indigo vis à vis, which we visited every day. Great café, juices and teas, and the menu offers everything your heart desires (note: vegetarian).
