We've been there 5 years ago, in 2019. And now, after 5 years came back to thailand and chose this hotel again and were not disappointed in our choice. Clean rooms with interesting design. The hotel is located on the mountain in the jungle with really awesome sunset view. Just ten minutes to go to the haad rin beach which is famous for it's white sand and fullmoon parties. Best hotel on Ko Phangan for money!

A wonderful hotel with wonderful views.
The room is very cozy, bright, with only sockets I have not seen anywhere. There are separate towels for the beach. I want to live here forever 😂😂😂

The location is good, and the place itself is beautiful. Not really a studio nor an apartment, but a nice and comfortable hotel room. The view is great.
One thing that wasn't good is that I got some severe insect bites in the bed, probably ants.

Stayed 3 nights at moonstone studio , booked the slightly larger room which was nice, room had fridge, safety box , kettle, pool was ok for cool down but quite small, close to haad rin beach 10 minute walk, , a few restaurants and a 7- 11 about 10 minute walk but not much around the hotel , pretty steep hill up to the rooms , not easy if u have any walking issues , much easier on a bike but need to be reasonably confident driving a bike going up and down , nice sea view from the room, 15 - 20 minute bike ride from the pier , staff good overall i enjoyed my stay
