An incredible stay at Mira Montra from start to finish. We were so impressed by the service, including pick up from the boat (which we didn't even explain when we were due to arrive), the free kayaks/paddle boards, the complimentary afternoon tea, quality of the rooms and the caring nature of the staff. They helped to arrange and drop us off at our next boat, which made it much less stressful.
We really enjoyed the breakfast. The view was to die for, and the resort itself was a close bike ride to the other bars/restaurants. We can not comment about the lunch or dinner in the hotel as we ate elsewhere and also rented a bike from down the road.
I'm so glad we made this trip and chose to stay here. I would definitely recommend!

The environment is very good, probably the best on the island. The hotel food is not as bad as the reviews say, and it is no problem to fill your stomach. It is too much trouble to go out, and there is basically no signal, and you can't navigate, so it is better to eat in the hotel. This island is really primitive, and it is a bit scary to go out. There are towering trees and it is very gloomy. The beach room must be on the left side of the swimming pool. Well, even if you walk on the beach, you must spray insect repellent. . The insects are terrible...

It is a good hotel, very good service, good management, but the sea water in front of the beach is a bit calm. There aren't many waves. Causing under the floor to have green stains like algae. Overall good, clean rooms.

I like it. The room is clean. The beach is ok, although not very beautiful. The snorkeling set is at the hotel so you can go snorkeling. Equipment or free use of rubber boats or kayaks. Snorkeling equipment is available to use, but there are a lot of shellfish. Looking for a place that is far away and full of trash, I have to accept that there aren't many places to visit on the island.

We have a great time staying at Mira Montra Koh Mak.
Front desk is very kind and helpful. Room is clean, bed is super comfortable. Free to borrow kayak, sup board and snorkeling equipments. Thanks to N’ Chai for recommending snorkeling spot at Koh Phi, that we can go there by kayaking. At Koh Phi diving spot is full of sea anemone, pink anemone fish and pack of various kind of fish. But not recommend when strong wind, high wave and strong currents quite risk.
Hope to have spend more days here again.

Very quiet, delicious food, well looked after staff. The service fees are reasonable. It's not too expensive. There are boats and lifeboats available. You can do various activities all day. The beach is very clean. Taking the family there is very good. You won't be disappointed at all.
