The highlight staying at Baan Suan is definitely the passionate hospitality of host Lily, would is happy to go above and beyond to help make your Koh Kood stay fun and memorable. I stayed at the standard room, which looked a bit different to the photos, generally clean but beware of flying ants at night when you have your lights on, and also for small geckos and the likes (toilet and shower is also outside of room, which is something not mentioned at booking, for people who are wary of mosquitos and other insects going to the bathroom at night might want to consider an upgrade in room). Location is on the main road 10 easy mins walk to Bang Bao beach. Otherwise there's restaurants and cafés within 15mins walk either direction of road. All in all, recommended to stay here if you'd like a homefeel to the chilled vibes of Koh Kood!

Everything amazing! The Hotel is a typical Thai house. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect being walking to the best beach on the island. Lyli the owner has been super friendly and attentive. We will repeat.

It is extremely delicious and is a private dish made by the proprietress herself! Recommended! It is about 600 meters away from Bangbao Beach and can be walked there. This beach is also very beautiful, and the sea water is like glass! You can also rent snorkeling equipment and go snorkeling yourself. There are also boats you can rent on the beach! All in all, great value for money!

The room we got has a broken bathroom door. It's a bit difficult for people coming from the northeastern region who don't have a private car. It is recommended to travel for just 1 day.

This is a ** hotel. They would not let guests leave. It was like a shop without laws. They would not let people leave even after they paid. They asked us to pay for one more night. The supervisor who could speak English was *****. It was very scary. I called the police but there was no police. This is a ** unsafe hotel. Please do not book it.

The hotel is located at the crossroads of the main island road and the road to Bang Bao Bay. There is a cafe here at the crossroads. There is a small shop at the hotel. Mainly drinks and chips. There is no serious food. On the way to the bay there is another store with a similar assortment. The area is green. The rooms are located in a separate beautiful villa-type building. Our room had a balcony overlooking palm trees and the like. Great bed. Breakfast on request. The beach is about a kilometer away. Wonderful bay.
