We stayed at A La Koh Kood for 5 nights. The resort is built in a bay over the water, which is very nice, so you can watch the hermit crabs and fish while having breakfast. The room, ours B2, was good, unfortunately it was only cleaned every other day (key handover required). There are motor scooters and a free pick-up service to the main road. Which is good because 2/3 of the road is unpaved and is very risky when it rains or is wet. Breakfast consists of the possibility to choose between 4 sets, otherwise toast, fruit, cornflakes, coffee, tea or water are offered. The restaurant is open for lunch until 2 p.m. and dinner is available from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The menu is very small by Thai standards, the food was ok unfortunately nothing more. The way to the beach is not very far, which invites you to linger. On the opposite side of the bay, there is a ruined resort, Montana, which was never opened because there was no permit for it. All in all, we were unfortunately a bit disappointed, especially with the cuisine, which was a shame. The employees were all very friendly to us.
