Captain Hook is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The villas are nice, we stayed in a room with its own mini pool. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel can help you arrange boat rides, scooters to rent, ferry tickets, etc. Some amenities the resort offers are massages, fire shows, snorkeling, kayaking, and skiing. You should know that there is no beach in front of the resort, but it’s a quick swim/canoe to the beach across from the resort. The restaurant and bar sits right on the water and offers various western and eastern options. We would definitely recommend the fried chicken wings! It was a great holiday and we would choose this resort again when we travel to Koh Kood in the future.

Every time I come to Koh Kood, I stay at only the Captain Hook resorts. This time I brought my elders with me. I couldn't book in time, so there was only Captain Hook, a pool suit room left. I usually come on weekdays, but this time I came during the New Year period. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and diving around the resort was the end. There were a lot of fish, medium, and large. The accommodation is suitable for those who like peace and quiet. There is no beach in front of the resort, but you have to kayak across, less than 50 meters.

Attention: To get to the hotel you have to be taken by boat!!!
A great idea in itself as you can have a very quiet holiday, but it is very complicated if you want to go "into town". You can rent scooters through the resort, but they are much more expensive than the rest of the island. We paid a lot of money per night and the breakfast was very reasonable... we've had much better in Thailand for that price.
Pai, who greeted us, is a really kind soul of a person, very warm and accommodating!
Despite that, we wouldn't book again.

The hotel has a good atmosphere, the receptionist is good and has good human relations.
Delicious food, beautiful view rooms, but the mattress is a little hard, should have a topper, there is a free kayak service, very good.
The mini pool room has an open bathroom with geckos, which are afraid of reptiles.

Highly recommend for everyone!!! Stunning scenery, Amazing sea view and white sand beach. The resort have many activities to do. And special show at night. The service is extremely superb goooooooood!!!! All staffs very helpful. And the resort also provided all day free coconut ice cream, drink,coffee bar and toast all you can eat.
Breakfast is delicious. Nothing to complain about.
