全体的に古い。ベッドのマットが柔らかく、くたびれている感じ。ユニット洗面所のメンテ窓はボルトが外れたままで、まがっていました。同じような宿でも、もっと管理されているとおもいます。

アイス無料だけど老朽化が激しいホテル仕事柄、全国のビジネスホテルに宿泊しますが、久々に突っ込み所満載のホテルに泊まりました。まず、施設の老朽化が半端ないです。＊冷房の効きがが悪いし、操作ボタンが壊れている＊ベッド脇のデジタル時計の液晶が壊れていて見えない＊シャワーの温度調節が難しい＊カードキー全盛の中、鍵が昭和時代のまま＊コンセントが少ないなど。温泉がありますが、正直浴場も更衣室も狭いです。またお湯がぬるかったです。良かったことは駅から徒歩10分弱ということと、シャトレーゼのアイスが無料で食べられることくらいでしょうか。（但し時間が決められていて、部屋への持ち込み禁止）

Japanese business partner company booked me and a Japanese engineer into the Danrokan twice in the 1980s. Spent half a 3 week trip and all a 2 week trip there. American breakfast was ok but Japanese Breakfast, in those days, had dried Salmon at least once every 3 days. Dried fish, vegies, rice, and a raw egg to crack into the rice. No matter which you ordered, you could get coffee. Silver pot, white-gloved server. Worked for me! I always gave the other engineer my egg. Heat and Air-conditioning both worked fine. All the wood in the room, including the doors, was the same, including the box the HVAC was in, table, moldings, desk and night stand. Very comfy, homey. It'll be a sad day when they "update" all that wood. I used my romanji dictionary and "Japanese for Busy People" grammar book to laboriously construct one-sentence questions but just looked confused when the response was a sentence. Counter person always went to get someone who spoke English. Not like Tokyo. But clean, and we worked too hard to even contemplate the hot spring.
