Hot spring Hotels in Kofu

a nice surprise! we stay in dormy inn after a short visit to mount fuji. the onsen is on rooftop where we can enjoy the starry night. free flow of icecream and ramen after onsen in the evening and free flow of yogurt drinks after apple onsen in the morning. overnight parking at 1000 yens. just around two minute walk to the biggest dept store where we can grab a quick lunch. many small local shops nearby … quite interesting the hotel is clean and tidy everywhere. friendly and well trained staff highly recommend it

I have never stayed in Kofu until now, and this time I stayed at which hotel I will stay. I made a reservation at the ”old name shop hotel” which felt very clean and nice on the web site. Because it was a car transfer on the day, was the parking lot adjacent? When I arrived, I thought it was too beautiful and there was a hard part because it was just next to the intersection. (just stopped at the red signal at the intersection, so I found out) Just a meeting when I entered the hotel? Because it was like that, many hotel staff were waiting in the lobby, and many greetings were received. The check-in and check-out response was kind and polite. The room is very clean because it is large enough to stay alone and is renewed. Breakfast is in the middle of the breakfast venue 2F, and it is up to the lobby floor once, and I think I should go by the stairs, but I climbed the stairs, and I climbed the different stairs, and there was a difficult part. Breakfast is a style to choose western or Japanese food. I can bring one item and one item, but I was able to eat all delicious. Nice cosy hotel. Hotel parking very limited, got to park outside parking, got 1 at 700 yen for night parking 1900-0700. Nice breakfast buffet & ice cream after onsen. Got 2 massage chair, same level as onsen. There's free washing machine usage only beside men onsen so quite inconvenience for ladies to use. Dryer 20mins @100yen.

Thank you for your family trip using the GoTo campaign. It was a convenient location close to the Shosen Gorge for this purpose, just off Kofu city. It was a more splendid facility I imagined and the iron plate grilled restaurant with a night view was also nice. Stayed in a 12 tatami Japanese room on the 12th floor. It was just a good size to spend with family. The view from the room is the best. Kofu looked over the wide 々, and Mt. Fuji was also seen behind it. The interior of the room and the building makes you feel the year in each place, but it was cleanly maintained and I didn't care about the deterioration due to the age. If there is no discount in the course with the dinner of iron plate Yaki, it is about 50000 yen for two couples (children are free). Iron plate baking was very delicious with a volume of meat, so I think it is a good price setting. The half buffet for breakfast was also delicious with enough items. Although the hot spring quality was quite good, there is no special point in the size and the scenery, and I think it is not very suitable for the hot spring aim. There is no view. Excellent Cospa with sufficient facilities and services as a city hotel. Recommended.

Rather, I wanted the grilled fish for breakfast to be freshly baked and the thickly baked eggs to be particular about freshly made. It was a fine grilled fish, but it was cold. The thickly baked eggs were cut in half on top of the cold. I wanted you to serve rice in a bowl. The hot spring is a little lukewarm. He puts ice cream, barley tea and water after the bath. The dryer was Dyson. It was a hotel that I thought was 々⁈.

It is an old-fashioned inn in 1886. Beautiful white walled buildings are surrounded by large Japanese gardens. I am happy to check in and polite welcome response. The room faces a large courtyard Japanese garden and is very quiet. The room had a terrace in addition to two Japanese rooms and a wide edge. You can also see the mountain (Yumurayama) right there from the terrace. In the morning, I put a pack coffee in the terrace of the room and drank it. I heard the voice of the autumn insect and relieved. Wi-Fi is also connected to the room. When I went to the bath, only a little sulfur smelled in the book. The hot spring is colorless and transparent, and it is hot water with skin swelling. One of the open-air baths is the best wet water in the source. I saw the mountain from the open-air bath surrounded by white walls and relaxed. The bath and the washroom area are clean and there are amenities. Dinner is used with many vegetables and is healthy. It was more colorful than when I came back. There were many items and I was satisfied. The liquor was reasonable and happy. Because of that, there were many guests who were drinking at dinner. When I asked for 2500 yen white wine of Shikishima wine (winery in Kai City, Yamanashi Prefecture), it was Delaware, but it was a dry and delicious wine. There was also a full bottle of 2200 yen wine. The Japanese breakfast had a treasure sword, butter juice and milk. I went out to the garden. I had a feed of the cherry blossoms, so I gave breakfast to the cherry blossoms. It is a very large colored cherry blossoms. The turtle came and reconciled. The building is very clean and quiet, and the hot spring, the meal, and the hospitality are good, so it is my favorite inn in Yumura Onsen. This time, I paid 20% points of Kofu City Pay Pay until September, so I paid Pay Pay without paying the card in advance. 

It was 2 days before Japan lifted the ban on sightseeing visits to Japan in early June 2022. I stayed for one night on my way to Nagano Prefecture. I booked this ryokan as I was curious to visit the Yumura onsen area that I had never visited close to central Kofu City as well as the modest price range. The ryokan is located south of the main Yumura onsen area in a quiet residential area. Reception was quick and I was shown to my room on the second floor. The room was quite spacious with a big tatami room separated by shoji sliding walls along a wooden corridor. At the end of the corridor by the window there was a table with two chairs. It was a style I had never experienced. I had arrived shortly past 3pm and went for a quick bath before engaging in some work on my pc. The onsen bath was of a modest size obviously because of the number of rooms they have, but very clean. The inside bath was a bit tepid but the outside bath was quite warm. I enjoyed the bath which I had completely to myself. Connection to their free wi-fi was quite good. The ryokan seemed to be relatively old but very well maintained. Interestingly they had a piano on the ground and second floor which was unlocked. The ryokan had a feel like I was staying at a European guest house. Dinner was served in the dining room on the ground floor. I was overwhelmed by the number of dishes already laid out on the table, but a couple more dishes such as tempura (fried dish) and stewed vegetables and fishmeal balls (stewed dish) as part of the kaiseki full course followed. There was nothing spectacular in the dishes except that they included many local vegetables and the number of dishes, which were good company to the beer and sake. The ryokan runs a separate soba restaurant, and the last dish instead of a traditional rice dish was a cold soba (mori). This was certainly good. Breakfast served in the same dining room was of a typical Japanese style. Contrary to some reviews complaining about cold baked fish, the salmon had been grilled on the table and was surprisingly unsalty. Beside the criticized natto and raw egg, the steamed rice was accompanied by egg rolls, potato salad, steamed spinach, marinated seaweed and pickles, more than enough to go with the steamed rice. Although they had few guests on the week day I stayed, a member of their staff was always at the reception, and all members were friendly and helpful. The price for the stay and two meals was slightly above 15,000 yen of which 5,000 yen was subsidized by Yamanashi Prefecture (subject to eligibility) as part of their efforts to support the local economy. I think I may revisit the ryokan when staying in Yamanashi. One word of caution is that the drinks offered by the only vending machine is very limited and there aren't any convenience stores close by, so best you bring some drinks with you,
