Hyders Park- the Luxury Hotel

A Pathetic Experience – Would Never Recommend! Our stay at this hotel was a disaster from start to finish. After a long and exhausting journey, we arrived at the property around 7 PM, hoping for a warm welcome and some much-needed rest. Unfortunately, what awaited us was a series of disappointments that completely ruined our vacation. The Check-In Disaster The nightmare began at the reception itself. Despite booking our stay through Agoda, the staff at the front desk seemed clueless. He questioned whether we had even made a reservation and claimed he hadn’t received any booking, blaming “technical issues” with Agoda. Instead of calmly resolving the issue, he was rude, argumentative, and dismissive. My spouse was deeply upset by his hostile tone and lack of professionalism. After nearly 30 minutes of heated back-and-forth, they finally assigned us a room. By then, our mood was already ruined. What should have been a stress-free trip turned into an ordeal from the very beginning. The Room – A Bigger Disappointment The room was an absolute letdown. It reeked of a foul smell, and the bedsheets were far from clean. The bathroom sink was clogged, and even a few drops of water took forever to drain. Although the floor appeared mopped, it wasn’t properly cleaned – there were visible patches of dirt. Exhausted, I ordered tea, hoping it would lift my spirits. The staff promised it would arrive “in a few minutes,” but I ended up waiting for 45 minutes, only to be asked later if I had even placed an order. It was frustrating beyond words. Terrible Food and Service The disappointment continued the next morning. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 9:30 AM, but when we arrived at 9:15, we were told the gas had been turned off, the chef had left, and no fresh food could be prepared. After much insistence, they reluctantly served us unboiled idlis, which were barely edible. It was shocking to see such lackluster service and subpar food quality. This property clearly has no understanding of hospitality or customer satisfaction. Overall Experience From the rude staff to the unhygienic rooms and the terrible dining experience, everything about this hotel was a disappointment. The overall vibe of the place was so unpleasant that it completely ruined our mood and left us regretting the trip. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a nightmare we couldn’t wait to escape. Final Thoughts For the prices they charge, this hotel offers nothing but frustration. I strongly advise against booking this property if you’re planning a trip to Kodaikanal. Save yourself the trouble, as this place is more likely to leave you stressed than rejuvenated.

We are 4 people there is only 3 beds in a congested room they refuse to give extra bed also. Terrible experience for our family

this is an outstanding resort in an outstanding location.it is a hugh end luxury property and thus a bit pricey but it is worth the price.filled with family entertainment.beautiful location and wonderful serene atmosphere.it is an outstanding place to relax.ms.simran she is very helpful to us her communication is excellent very polite person.overall good staff.

On account of a conference visited Hyders Park in Kodai. Honestly the hotel is a little underwhelming The designs and decor are loud. Rooms are small and there is nothing luxurious about it. The restaurant was under renovation hence food is catered from outside. Despite multiple requests I got my tea with sugar while I asked for sugarless Breakfast was a set menu with Idlies, Vada and dosa This was alright and manageable Overall not worth !

One of the memorable stay in Kodaikanal High quality food at Anifa restaurant we stay with family with child , 24 hrs hot water , Lift facilities to all floors modern interior , Recommend to all friends good price too

Rooms are nice,amenities were good. Adequate quantity of bath towels were provided. Food quality can be improved. Front desk staffs are cordial and helpful.( especially. ,Mr.Sadaam hussein) Open space was less to have a view of city..
